Good location!

Some water damage in the lounge area and lack of ventilation in the bedrooms.

It was comfortable and spacious.

It could have done with bedside lights. A towel rail by the shower would have been good.

The app- pre-arrival form wouldn't let me upload ID so had to call- frustrating to use app

Sky light in bedroom, above a pub and no parking very basic, no frills.

Easy check in, no staff as was outside of hours. Room was a great size with everything we needed Location was excellent, walking distance to everything

Parking as you there was no specific parking for hotel but as we were only there for one night wasn't a major

Two bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms have a skylight with a blind that can be controlled from inside the room. It has very big Samsung fridge/freezer, a two drawer dishwasher, a table that easily seats four and a sofa bed that's probably a 3 or 3.5 seater and a huge TV with lots of channels for viewing. We watched Christmas movies. There is air con in every room I think. It has an absolutely power shower. The bathroom is nice and includes a washing machine and a dryer. There is also a laundromat located downstairs right next door. What's outside on the street, Farmers Department Store if you need clothes, toys etc. Skipping Stone cafe across the road is excellent & Hey Joes cafe at the other end of the street. Chinese food on the same side of the road at the end of the street. Woolworths supermarket across the road. Bay Shoes is great for every kind of shoe you can imagine. There is a bar downstairs with pool tables - on the street. Because it was a public holiday, and council parking wardens were on holiday for Christmas, Boxing Day there was all day/all night free parking on the street. Same with News Day and 2 Jan - check Wellington City Council website for more information. There are three supermarkets within walking distance, Woolworths across the road, Pak N Save across the road from the other side of Woolworths, and Common Sense Organics close walking distance. It's got a nice view from the lounge of some houses on a hill. The blinds have privacy option. There is air con in the lounge. Fans in the rooms and heaters. There are spare blankets. If you're heading there Lyall Bay is near by, but Princess Bay next door is a beautiful swimming beach. Don't go to Houghton Bay as that's only safe for surfing. It has a very relaxed modern vibe - all on one storey. You do have to climb stairs to get to the apartment. Not too many. It's very quiet.
