Gables Cove Hotel

I've stayed in this hotel before & it has gone a bit down in the care of the same. I acutally stated in the exact same room & it is really beaten up

Keys were noy ready furst night but othdr than this ecerhthing was ok

Good time good relax central location nice and beautiful place

No cold ac but very clean inside the room on the stairway found a crack pipe

The room was clean but it had a funny smell

From the outside view you walk away, but the rooms are nice, in my case the set back was the A/C didn't work properly, the room wasvreally hot at all times

They gave me handicap room and not many channels to see not what was advertise

I stay 2 nights only because I could not cancel without penalty. I paid before I looked at the room. 1st room smelled like gasoline. Fumes were making me sick. I asked for another room. 2nd room Did have a security lock but no closet ( none of the rooms have a closet). Wall to wall mirrors. All rooms. The bathroom shower was almost warm. No hot water. The 2nd day I turned off the A/C. When I came back it would not turn on. Moved to the next room. Again no hot water. There was at least was a table with chairs where I could sit. Sign at the front Check in ; WE DO NOT ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES , WE RENT ROOMS ONLY TO HONEST PATRONS. NO PROSTITUTION WE DO NOT RENT ROOMS FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. Did not feel safe or comfortable here.

The rooms smelled moldy and the bed had hairs on the sheets.

It was not good at all.. Mosquitos inside the room. The bathroom was dirty, and the room itself smelled bad.
