They went beyond expectations , the decoration for such an old building was exceptional and very clean .

The beer choice was not for me , but that is my own opinion and not reflective of modern ideas .

Very unique rooms, nice bar. Oktoberfest beer and food were nice too.

They’ve made access to the rooms so much easier and you no longer have to go inside the pub to enter and leave.

The staff, location and room where amazing. The landlord was so welcoming and accommodating, the room was unique in the fact the rooms are designed around the low beams of the building.

Nothing it was awesome

We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!

Friendly hosts and charming old place to stay at. We stayed in the Helena room, with a large window overseeing the indoor garden bar area. Even though at night guests of the bar would be there, closing hours allow us to sleep on time regardless. And the place is a really short walk from the station.
