Sacred Mountain Lodge

The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. The sofa could also do with an update, as the seat cushions were really misshapened, and not comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, it's a really lovely setting, and I enjoyed the privacy combined with a feeling of safety.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, good breakfast and wonderful area close to the sea. Horse riding is also close by!

The food was ok. The venue is pretty

The rooms needs a deep clean. Towels are grey. Shower floor very dirty and was covered in ants. Either the shower or toilet was leaking. 1 ply toilet paper. Now shower caps and nice charlotte Rhys products, pillows are dirty with no protective cover. Tv channels did not work. Asked for some code. Handbasin was is cracked.

The inside of the cottage was extremely neat and clean. 10/10 for that.

Inside was very neat and clean. Would have been nice to have some seating and a table outside. The only concrete type seating was full of water and dirty.

Location was AMAZING. Accommodation was so neat and beds so comfortable. Beautiful aesthetics. Staff great.

Sacred Mountain was conveniently located for us as our event was very close by. To be honest, the only reason we booked this place was because everything else was booked, that should have told us something, if it's the last place available, probably because it wasn't going to be very nice. The linen was clean and the bed comfortable.

The place was like staying in a time warp, that horrible Oregon Pine furniture and sand stone tiles all over the place including the bathrooms. We felt really RIPPED OFF, we had a 4 sleeper 2 bedroom place when all we needed was a 2 sleeper bed, an interleading door could very easily have been closed and the other room rented out, there seems to be a shortage of places in Noordhoek. Dirty used Ear Buds lying outside on the patio and lawn, gives you a sense of not very clean. No bottled water, no milk for tea, we had to ask, no chocolate or treat on the pillow, no flowers in the room, no Rusks to have with your Tea/Coffee, absolutely NO attention to detail, these are small things that make a huge difference. You in Wine Country @R2600-00 for the night give a complimentary bottle of wine or MCC. These guys need some serious training in hospitality.
