Sacred Mountain Lodge

Breakfast was great - hot plates and a delicious omelette. The coffee was awful. But that may just be a matter of taste.

The room is pokey, smells of damp, the TV is difficult to access with no guidance, I found wifi difficult to access (that may just be me) there was a feeling of "seen better days".

Even though we did not a fireplace, the gas heater that was provided was even better

I loved everything about this place it was exquisite an very romantic as a couple getaway

We attended a function in the area on Saturday night; the location was very close and it was a short drive to the venue we had to attend.

We did not have breakfast at the venue - we thought that their quoted price was expensive The venue is ok, but a person expect more of a 4 star venue. There were tiles broken in the shower, the washbasin tap was loose and we were warned before hand that there was no fireplace but there is one .... maybe also not working? The amenities was not correct - the bottle that was marked "cream" had soap in - and unfortunately the bright green is a very distinctive color of dishwashing soap so we stayed clear. The other cream bottle was empty. Again, I could understand from an airbnb, but more is expected from a venue that advertise 4 stars. Pulling out of the drive way is extremely difficult due to overgrown sidewalk and it is dangerous- they might have gone for the "bushy" sidewalk but it is impossible to see oncoming traffic.
