"A gluten free cyclists dream hotel!"

The Royal Oak provided us with an excellent stay. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and amazingly helpful at all times. We had phoned ahead as we were cycling and needed storage for our bikes and one of us is coeliac so we needed gluten free options. Both requests were met without any problem, in fact from a coeliac point of view, The Royal Oak is a dream - gluten free biscuits with the tea/coffee tray in our room, loads of choices at dinner and breakfast, including 2 kinds of GF granola. The staff were so knowledgeable about cross contamination and they really did make it a fantastic stay.

Nothing that I can think of, the stay was brilliant. Slight traffic noise from the road outside but not really an issue.

Lovely location close to the sea for nice relaxing walks.a good variety of food on the menu,and very warm and friendly Staff. Room very comfortable and clean.would certainly return one day .everything you would want for a nice relaxing Holiday By The Sea. Nice Breakfast menu with everything cooked to order.Evening meal also First Class with good selection.and Dietary requirements if needed.
