Super 8 by Wyndham Alma

Mattress was comfortable and TV was large. Hotel was dirty and lobby and breakfast area were untidy. Desk area had papers everywhere. Every morning owner was talking ti people in India I believe, which isnt bad but he was sitting the middle of breakfast and was talking so very loud.

Convenient

Our goal was a place to sleep comfortably and peacefully with a shower and quick breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable. Our room would have been fine but for noisy neighbors. The bath was acceptable but towels were thin & scratchy. Breakfast was not good. Cold biscuits & gravy. Waffle mix was too thick. Coffee was horrible.

Not sure how they got the good reviews. Not worth the price you pay. Air conditioner was loud, shower squealed, and it smelled like curry so bad had to sleep with the window open.

The window had no screen the door the chain was was have there and when I book the room with it was for 3 adults and one pet paid you then when got to hotel I had to pay a extra 43.00 dollars

This place rocks. Jenny is super awesome. Could t ask for a better hotel associate at all. Very attentive and easy to work with. She’s an absolute pleasure. The rooms are clean. Very clean. And the bed I had at least was very comfortable

Roger at the front desk was super nice, very friendly & welcomed me with a smile, placing me in the "just right" room, downstairs as requested. Room was spacious with fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Laminate flooring. Lots of counter space in the bathroom. Free wifi w/decent signal. DirecTV programming. Sheets were clean, bed was comfortable. A/C quickly cooled down the room. It wasn't what you would call sparkling white-glove clean; windows were smeary, bits of dust & debris in the corners, shower head was mineral stained, as was the toilet. Neither sink or bath tub had drain stoppers. The wash cloths appeared new, but one of the bath towels had holes in it & needed to be retired. The nightstand drawer was broken, but happily it did contain a Bible. Light continental breakfast. All in all the good definitely outweighed the bad & it's the best Alma has to offer. If you want more amenities, keep driving but bear in mind the closest will be an hour or so, no matter which direction you're going, and you'll spend well over $100. f you're not too picky, it'll do. I'd stay here again, but if you have any doubts, ask to see your room 1st.

If you like hard beds and pillows, this is the place for you. Hot water clean linens, quiet when you're the only people there. Limited snack variety in the vending machine. Breakfast to be desired. But hey, if you're looking for something overnight, this is about the best you can do in a small town such as Alma. There was a strong smell of Indian cooking that you probably can get used to if you stayed there more night. Not everybody prefers that though. You do not need your key card to get in and out of the building because the doors are open.

Dirty hotel complained I had my window open looks junky all around the hotel smells like curry so I was letting the room air out company paid the incidental fee with a card online but still made me put a another card in the system and when I tried to argue that that’s been paid already and I wasn’t putting my own card in there he got on his phone and walked away like the rooms already paid for if your willing to drive a extra 30mi to stay somewhere else do it
