"Won’t be there again"

Location

No hand soap in room- don’t expect a breakfast. We tried it first morning- orange juice was brownish, Expired. Actually a lot of things were expired. Nothing seemed cleaned. The syrup bottles had lids tore off and flys landing on everything. Disgusting. Accidentally left 3 trail cameras behind and they never had the decency to call and let us know.

"clean, quiet, comfortable, safe !!"

Ken,Jen,Rodger and their MOM are super great people!!The room was spotless bed was perfect!! coffee was hot hot !! They feed a local stray cat and Rodger even built a house for it outside how thoughtful of him !! cat comes and goes as it pleases dogs are welcome and do greet you on occasion since I'm a pet lover thought it was great!!What irks me is when I was looking for a room the lady at the fleabag motel across the hwy. said there were NO OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT I SHOULD GO TO HOLDRIDGE WHAT THE HELL !!!!!Then was told about the suspicious activity going on around there WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP !! Since it was locals whom built the hotel originally and decided to sell out maybe other locals should have bought it themselves !! This family is living the American dream and I for one hope they succeed!! They take pride in what they have and I will be back so I hope they do well for generations to come!!Despite jealous locals who try to discourage you staying there I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SUPER 8 IN ALMA NEBRASKA HOTEL!! The overall property was a bit run down and unkept and my room had stains in carpet, toilet seat, etc. ... wasn't horrible, but could have been cleaner. The breakfast offering was very limited with no grab and go items like bananas or pastries.

Comforter stained, towels stained and shower floor not clean. Tv covered a mirror in room, which had large spackled wall. Bathroom light had unfinished spackling in it to. Felt like it was a damaged room under construction.

"The location was excellent."

Minimal selections. All I ate was a waffle, which I enjoyed.

The roll of toilet paper in the bathroom was in an awkward position. I had to twist around and reach behind me to get to it.

"Breakfast area & tables dirty"

Our room was acceptable but the bathroom seat was worn and should be replaced soon Our room was missing a refrigerator and a microwave All the breakfast tables and food area were dirty, and there were only a few food selections, such as two dry cereals, waffles, toast, coffee and juice.
