ReadySet Apartments on Little Collins

Great location, so close to Southern Cross Station! Big apartment with a lot of space. Washer and Dryer were handy to have in the apartment.

The whole apartment needs a bit of TLC, there are a lot of broken items around the place. Could also do with a good deep clean! Bedrooms VERY hot as no ventilation or fans provided (fan in ensuite also didn't work so hate to think how damp everything will get).

There was nothing to like about this dirty, broken apartment.

Everything was old and broken. The televisions didn’t work. The patio door didn’t open. The sliding doors on the wardrobes were broken and off their tracks so couldn’t get access to the wardrobes. The bedside lamp was broken and hanging down. The hair dryer was broken. There was black mould growing in the shower. There was other peoples hair on floors. There was a smell coming out of the drains in bathroom like sewage. There were cockroaches crawling everywhere. The spare doona for the fold out bed was dirty so couldn’t be used

Upon entering the apartment the balcony door handle was completely broken off. It took alot of back and forth before finally getting a handy man to come and fix the issue as the apartment was not secure. This was a known issue before we checked in and was advised that it was like this for several days. I understand the timing of this was around the Christmas period and can appreciate that finding someone to fix this issue but I felt that if I didn't keep pushing the issue it would have just continued. Lots of broken or incomplete items in the apartment and the bed sheets were not clean and spare towels were wet. The location was good and had good access to trams etc. The key collection office I found the lady there to be very friendly and pleasant. Other apartments in this location might be different.

All the facilities in the cbd. Good value

2 TVs in bedroom- neither worked. Cant get free to air TV in lounge room. No instructions for washing machine. Only able to provide one key which was problematic for two adults with different itineraries. Check and online registration process was painful. Sofa bed not very comfortable- really only suitable for 2 people sharing main bed

Super spacious with enough room to sleep 6 people. Very convenient location, fast wifi, working air-conditioning, great that they had a washing machine, dryer and a dishwasher. The water pressure in the shower was also very good. The hosts were very easy and quick to communicate with.

There was mould in both showers,so I would highly recommend investing in better fans to prevent mould growing in the future. I was also recommend providing more bin bags, hand soap, paper towels and spray, hand towels, drinking cups, as well as dishwashing liquid. I think would be a good idea to put shelves in the shower or one of those racks so people have somewhere to put their shower items. I also think there should be more blankets and pillows for the people who sleep on the couch.
