Had everything I needed. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful secluded location. Perfect for my dog.

Absolutely amazing location - fabulous views straight across the moor to Kings Tor. We had a lovely stay & didn’t want to leave… could’ve spent another couple of weeks just walking with our dog & relaxing. The barn feels very remote, but you’re just off the main B3357 & a short distance down the track [that goes to Foggintor]. It’s so peaceful, we just heard the sounds of birds singing, the sheep baa-ing, the wind blowing. One thing to note - the track (that runs behind the property) can get rather busy with walkers of a weekend (and holiday times) as it goes to Foggintor Quarry. The barn has everything you need for your stay, it’s well equipped with washer / dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge & freezer, hob & oven, airer, 2 pedestal fans, a (looks new) walk-in shower, & a lovely, comfortable bed. The garden was ideal for our dog as it was fenced & had a table & chairs, & also deckchairs & parasol in the bin shed. Was a bit windy (read: blowing a hoolie) when we stayed so we didn’t really use it. There’s so many walks straight from the door - across to Kings Tor, into Princetown along the old railway track, the quarries of Foggintor / Swell Tor / Ingra Tor, then across the road to Great Mis Tor, The Staple Tors, Roos Tors…. and then all the walks a short drive away (Postbridge, Wistman’s Wood, Bellever etc). No visitor centre in Princetown anymore, but it's only a short drive to Postbridge's Visitor Centre. 
Highly recommend Yellowmead Barn to anyone who loves peace & quiet, along with stunning views.

A few of things would improve the property, IMO. When I stripped the bed before we left I noticed how stained (yuck) the pillows were, which isn’t nice, so new pillows would be appreciated. Also, the sofas, like others have mentioned aren’t comfy for sitting for longer periods. Some drawers in the bedroom would be ideal, so clothes could be put away easily rather than having to hang everything in the wardrobe or living out of bags/suitcases.

It was basically perfect but as others have mentioned - Sofas are very very uncomfortable

The location is second to none,you are on the moor and its stunning.

Ein wunderschönes Cottage: perfekte Ausstattung, bequemes Bett und so eine tolle Lage. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und akzeptieren die Privatsphäre ihrer Gäste. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Geweldig uitzicht, de rust, de afgezette tuin, de wandelingen die je meteen kan maken. We hebben een paar dagen zo genoten!

Banken zijn niet mooi maar zitten prima !
