Friendly owners. Great location, allocated parking space close to town and coastal path. Lovely sized room, comfortable with everything you need. Excellent breakfast - good choice and freshly cooked.

Wendy and Gareth were very welcoming and made our visit exceptionally enjoyable. Appley Lodge felt like home from home. Our hosts add so many extra little comforts to ensure your stay is more than a basic B & B. We will return!

Very clean and comfortable. Bed linen good quality, decor superb. Made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent, Great Produce and lovely the way the continental was set out. There was a mini fridge in the room with complimentary bottles of water that was replaced every day. There was even a sewing kit with cottons of every colour available to use if needed. Tea and coffee available in the breakfast room throughout the day. A lovely spacious building with very good size rooms. Fantastic location. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting the Isle Of Wight

The Breakfast was excellent. The Location was very good and Peaceful. Gareth & Wendy were very friendly, helpful and the Perfect Hosts. We will Revisit.

Excellent location and free parking, both very important factors for us. Gareth and Wendy were excellent hosts , always cheerful and helpful.

Only slight negative for us was the very small bathroom, which could do with updating.

Bed not very comfortable but wouldn’t stop me going back. Really nice people.

Location was very good, lovely sunny veranda to sit on in the evening. Plenty of choice for breakfast, from cereal, fresh fruit, full English, toast & jam was available. Hosts were very accomadating & helpful and also booked the return ferry crossing for us. Plenty of places to eat along the sea front or in the nearby old town. Free off road car parking.

Shower in our room was not very good, the host stated they are going to update the bathroom facilities. The hot water from the sink tap, was excessively hot. Would have been nice to have a wardrobe instead of just a hanging pipe rail. Would have been helpful to have been emailed the restaurant phone numbers, as alot were already fully booked.

Fantastic hosts Gareth and Wendy welcomed us and really helped us to enjoy our stay. Our room was light and airy, beautifully clean and very comfortable. A well stocked beverage tray and a mini fridge was there for our use. The full English breakfast was beautifully presented and Wendy's homemade museli and individual pots of fresh fruit salad were absolutely delicious. Other cereals and yoghurts were available. The front hall was welcoming with a great selection of info for visits around the island. Highly recommended 5*
