Koukoumi Vegan Boutique Hotel

This place is fantastic. The hotel and outdoor area are beautiful, the room was clean and spacious, the food is excellent and the staff is outstanding. We are vegan and the food was imaginative as well as delicious. We enjoyed the cocktails - some of the best. I could not get enough of the Fall Adventure. Everything was wonderful - honestly disappointed we have to leave.

The food was out of this world, incredible, both to me as a gluten intolerant vegan, and to my husband as a non-vegan with no dietary requirements! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and pool area were beautiful. Such a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious stay.

The hotel and everything about it was wonderful! Just note that if you want to venture outside of the hotel and pool area, there are no full pavements, so be very careful on the roads. It would be easier if you rented a car (which the hotel can arrange for you).

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and stayed 8 nights. We couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The Koumoumi is a boutique hotel with around 14 rooms. When we were here there was a mix of families, couple and friend groups staying. They also allow dogs which was an additional perk. We booked some time in advance and had a good early booking discount. We hired a car for our trip. There is ample parking. Staff are happy to arrange transfers and taxis if you need them. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and the old town. Also about 20 minutes to the beach clubs. There are beaches within 5 minutes drive from the hotel. There are some small shops and restaurants within 2 minutes walk of the hotel if you need to grab essentials or a coffee. We stayed in room 6 which has its own big tub and patio with hammock. It’s a big room that is next to the pool. If you stay make sure you shut the shutters as the sun shines right through this window in the morning. The room is very clean and decorated perfectly in the minimal Greek style. Tea and coffee amenities are in the room as is a mini fridge that is stocked with water daily. The patio is a good hideaway, particularly if it’s a windy day. The pool area is perfect. It’s clean and has a variety of seating options. On some days we had the pool to ourselves. We opted for full board when we stayed and we have eaten VERY well while we have been here. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and a la carte. You can feed yourself for most of the day if you so wish. Highly recommend the juices as they are made fresh. Lunch and dinner menus are immense. I preferred lunch while my husband preferred dinner. You can get half board options that includes either breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Everything is fully vegan so we were free to eat to our hearts’ desire. Over the the 8 nights we are our way through both menus. The drinks menu is in line with usual Mykonos prices. There is a gym here so you can work off some of the additional calories! My husband did yoga one morning (this is held daily) and he enjoyed this. Lastly, but by no means least. The staff have been amazing. They have really looked after us while we have been here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The owner can be seen walking around and she takes time to speak with the guests.

The food was excellent. Expensive but excellent.

The location is not great. On a busy road and no sea view. The swimming pool is quite exposed - no privacy from diners at the restaurant or people checking in.

The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

Amazing and friendly people who work here and the best vegan / plantbased food in all of Europe! A must for any vegan wanting to experience a vegan food on a level that is unheard of anywhere else. Really nice rooms with everything you need. Super helpful reception and property management if something needs fixing !

Nothing really! Renting a car or a quad/atv is a really nice addition to be able to experience more of Mykonos.
