Koukoumi Vegan Boutique Hotel

We spent a fantastic two weeks at Koukoumi. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, whilst the food and drinks were excellent. They have a nice and refreshing pool, and the spa and gym are both great. We would recommend trying the cooking class to learn something truly unique and finally to get the full experience try the tasting menu, it is delicious!

The food is really good but breakfast was seriously amazing. For vegans it will likely be the most options you've ever had, the mini pastries are so good. The decor of the hotel is amazing especially the rooms (even more so given our free upgrade!). Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating given my partner was pregnant.

Although lunch and dinner were good, it would've been nice to have some more basic lunch options (many of the breakfast buffet options would've also been great at lunch, pies, sandwiches etc). The beach not as close as we hoped, shuttles to and from the beach were crazy expensive (€30 each way). It would be nice if the hotel could organise a daily shuttle too and from the beach (we spoke to some other guests who also felt this too)

Had the pleasure of staying at Koukoumi for 10 nights, and what a truly amazing hotel it is. The boutique nature of the hotel ensures tranquility and relaxation, with wonderful staff on hand to support. The rooms are delightful and the bed is one of the comfiest we have slept on. Now to the food… wow! Every meal was at such a high standard, it was like dining in a Michelin star restaurant three times a day. Such a creative menu opens your eyes to combinations/pairings you may never have considered being possible. Honestly some of the best vegan food my wife and I have eaten. The cooking class was also great fun, which was part of the package we booked. One of the real highlights during the stay was Koukoumi’s cocktail menu. Dimitris’ passion and enthusiasm shows that cocktail making is a true craft. The Smoked Geisha was a personal favourite, but the great thing was the willingness to adapt and make a drink that best suits each guest. It led to some great insight and made good fun each evening when trying different cocktails. It never felt as though any question was silly, and to those interested in cocktail making we would certainly recommend spending time with Dimitris to learn more about his craft! Finally, have to mention the yoga sessions with Alexis Adamos, who provides a wealth of wisdom and positivity. The perfect holiday destination. We cannot wait to go back.

Lovely eperience. Amazing staff. Tasty food

This hotel is a vegan dream. I'll give some minor cons at the end but the pros from the experience. 1. The food. We had full board and tried everything from breakfast lunch and dinner. The chef and her team are amazing and it's great to go to breakfast as a vegan be able to get anything. If you go here the food will be the first and last thought. Simply stunning presentation and taste. 2. Location. Having already been to Mykonos I did not care for old town and being outside anomira was all I needed. We never left and it was always quiet. 3. The staff are always so friendly and we feel we get to know them on a personal level 4. The gym is superb and you can easily book activities via reception. Now for some small cons 1. After your complimentary water in the room you then have to purchase as they don't restock your fridge 2. Our room had a wee bit of wear and tear. Toilet seat coming off the seal and the shower not draining well 3. A smell of sweage now and then by the pool nearest the yoga studio Overall minor issues. 100% would stay again. They just need to fix up (at least our room) and it would be perfect. Once again staff were amazing and food out of this world. If you are vegan you have to visit here!

The whole experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. The very friendly team gave a wonderful welcome upon arrival, the room we stayed in was extremely comfortable and the restaurant was sensational. This hotel is total paradise, and a must if visiting Mykonos.

A first class experience. From the transfer from the port to the drop off and everything in between. The room was comfortable with a lovely veranda and hot tub, and right by the large and refreshing pool. The staff were exceptional. Friendly and professional and anticipated the needs of the guests. The spa services were welcome too and we can highly recommend the relaxing massage treatment. However, the food was the star! The breakfast was a great start and a huge choice of both savoury, sweet and a la carte. Lunch had the bonus of a vegan fried egg but the fine dining in the evening was superb. The presentation, the flavours and the sheer creativity of the menu is worth the visit alone. Housekeeping staff were always efficient and most rooms were cleaned while guests enjoyed breakfast. Yes it is a little more expensive than other hotels on the island, but as a treat, it is worth it!
