Buvik Sea Lodge Apartments

Super cozy and beautiful apartments right by the ocean! The apartment was renovated beautifully and we really enjoyed our stay there. We had a lot of extra space for our luggage, the view is spectacular and we felt super welcomed to the house by the friendly host. Would highly recommend!

The noises from the apartment above us could be heard quite clearly as it is an old building. The bathroom also didn’t quite match the vibe of the rest of the apartment and felt like it could use some updating.

It would have been great if they provided coffee. When the description says a well appointed kitchen I assume that means they have coffee.

The host, the location, the place and everything was absolutely incredible – 5-star experience!!! The host was always there to support us with whatever we needed or could think of – thank you so much! The location itself is slightly remote with a most stunning view of the sea. We connected with the locals, eat fresh fish, swam in the sea, saw dolphins, ... and the list goes on. We had the most beautiful and peaceful time staying at Buvic.

Wonderful place by the Arctic Sea. Very good beds, lots of space in the apartment and good kitchen to prepare meals. Our host was more than helpful and made our stay unforgettable.

This is a lovely, tranquil and remote location you can easily fall in love with. The clear water and the sea are directly in front of the terasse and in the back you can sea the snow covered mountains. I think this is worth a note, because you can not really see this from the photos provided online. The host is very kind and helped us with a some tips for grocery shopping during easter holidays and aurora viewing spots.

Eventhough there were some other guests who had different plans than just enjoying silence and nature, the host managed to seperate the party crowd from the other accomodations, so we and the other guests could enjoy our stay. We were in room no 4 and were absolutly overwhelmed from the interior and the stunning view. But some small things in the apartment just need some maintanance to make it perfect. If you can not close the door from the bedroom properly or if there is some mold in the shower you should know that this is something that need to be fixed. Other than that it was absolutely wounderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Buvik Lodge. The location is amazing, the apartments are very comfortable, and you cannot beat the view of the northern lights from the balcony! Soufiane was a fantastic host and made sure we had a great stay. A perfect place to take a break. Thank you for having us!

Nice location on the sea, points West so nice sunsets. Easy to get around by car as it's on the main road.

We were constant disturbed by noise from the guests above. There seems to be no or very little sound proofing at this property. Wooden flooring in the apartment above us was extremely noisy and squeaky sounds constantly echoed at every movement by the upstairs guests. It was possible to listen to people having conversations in other apartments and the squeaky floor made sleeping difficult as the upstairs guests seemed to move around at all times, day and night. We were subsequently moved upstairs when it became available, which had been our initial request when we booked and had indeed been confirmed. The sea lodge description and photos on your website are very different from reality. I would suggest that if the photos had been a true representation of the property we would not have stayed here. The whole property is suffering from a lack of maintenance, care and attention to detail. Worrying there are a number of health and safety issues, the primary one is that it appears that the water from the taps should not be used for drinking.! We are only now fully aware of this from the latest guest review and it would explain the number of water bottles in the foyer. AT NO TIME DURING OUR STAY WAS THIS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION. Missing and broken glass panels on balconies, rotten and broken wooden planks on balconies and the jetty. Missing or not working lights & bulbs in the bathroom, corridor and living room. Exposed electric wiring, missing cover on electrical Mould in the shower and around windows. Ground floor balcony door was not possible to secure or lock. Lower Balcony/ terrace is accessible to anyone through reception area 24 hours a day. Dust & hair found under beds and on the baseboard of beds. Dirty and stained black out blinds in bedrooms. The whole sauna area is grubby, ran down, not cleaned or maintained. There are broken windows, dirty windows, and the roof to the seating area leeks onto the soft furnishings and tables
