The View

I had stayed in this place 2 years ago and it was fantastic. Now it is run down, basic functions are not there and the staff is not interested in you at all. Totally inadequate price. The sauna place is a scam- broken window, broken wall and rain dropping in the changing room. In the room - the sink had leaked, patches on floor not cleaned, the tap was rickety. Lamps not working in the bathroom. Salt and pepper available in open packs, so all humid. No shower gel. No toaster. No microwave. Not very clean (except bed). You can still not use the water for drinking. The owner failed to inform us! Also, I had booked the sauna before our arrival. The owner had confirmed it and then did not prepare it. Did not even inform us! The owner was ignoring also WhatsApp messages. Totally unacceptable.

Apartment is pretty, as per the pictures. Unfortunately there is zero noise insulation and you simply cannot be here and relax due to people in the other units coming and going day and night, the latter for northern light trips. There is zero on site support, despite advertising front desk being open during the day. Even before the trip we couldn't get hold of the manager and neither could Hotels.com. No info provided. The manager is slow to get back to any text and doesn't answer his phone. He tried to justify this with the fact he is doing another job. That may be the case but surely he has to give priority to guests. We took up our issues the first night with Hotels.com who again couldn't contact the manager. When he finally became available and spoke to the owner they agreed to refund the whole stay and we left after one night. That's hardly a good thing as we then had to find alternative accomodation but at least the owner took action. I would advise anyone with a booking here to consider staying somewhere else where you can relax, have some peace and quiet and also have some form of present management for any questions or concerns.

The sauna did not work, door was broken some days before. Appartement was nice, but nneds some maintanance and the area outside and in in sauna building need housekeeping

Great location, great accommodation and the living is very cozy. The host was very friendly and willing to help us.

The sauna didn’t work, but we understood that it was an exceptional situation (it was damaged by a storm) and I am sure it will get fixed shortly

The upgrade the lodge to a 10: - no shower curton - light in the shower cabin - provide some drinks like wine and coffee for a fee

Beautiful location right on the sea. Cute lodge that is very comfortable and nicely stocked. Great to just stay put and relax and view the northern lights if lucky enough to have the right conditions.

You can easily hear the neighbors talking through the walls and as you share the deck they can see in your main window. After we checked in, we never saw staff again throughout the visit. Do not try to drive here in icy weather as the road can get slick and the driveway/parking is a treacherous sheet of ice. You cannot get a refund if the roads are too dangerous to drive on.

The apartment wasn't very clean. Windows were dirty and also the glass on the lamps. There was a hole in the floor in the kitchen. For this price we expected more.

Sofian is the best host, very helpful and told us what to visit during our stay. We was lucky to see the northern lights the day before our departure!
