It seemed the space had not been fully prepared for our arrival. For example, we had to make our own beds, and in making my bed, I saw several stains I probably would have preferred not to know about. This was not enough to ruin the experience, but definitely was surprising given this was one of the more expensive places we stayed while in Norway. I only note it as I think it might be useful for the property to know for future guests.

PLPLThe apartment was clean, with a very comfortable living room and kitchen. The apartment had bedding, towels and the owner brought us drinking water separately. We had a conversation with the owner using Google Translate, which went well.
What a beautiful apartment and the views are incredible! The host is very helpful and we had great conversations with him. The sauna was really nice to enjoy on a rainy day. It's very close to Tromsø so it was a perfect place for us to stay for the night.
NOUSThe location was so peaceful, the hygge atmosphere was wonderful, space and furnishings were lovely. The views were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. We appreciated the insights on what to visit in the area as it was spectacular.
The only things that could have been better are minor. For example, better communication on what is in the unit already. Having coffee in the room, shampoo, conditioner, soap in the shower in eco friendly dispensers.

USThe location was fantastic. It was very remote, about an hour from Tromsø, and far from any businesses. Take your own groceries, especially coffee. The apartment was very nice and clean. The bedrooms were more spacious than other places we'd stayed in Norway with a nice bathroom and good sized living room. The best part was the large balcony. Also, the sauna was extremely nice despite how warm it was outside and proved especially comfy after a good hike. And of course Espen was the best host!!
The actual beach in front of the room was all rocks so it would have been difficult to get in the water from there if we wanted to. No problem though, the ferry to Senja was 10 minutes away and there are beaches about 25 minutes away in Sommaroy.
