Too small and very limited. Poorly staffed. The staff was poorly trained and educated as to the restaurants and activities available. There was an extreme lack of communication between the staff members and the facilities. No one know what was going on from place to place.

Such a fantastic resort! Small boutique feel with great service, really good food/drinks! Easy walk to fun restaurants with live music. The hotel is beautiful inside and out! Great pools. Will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely quiet resort. My husband and I were here April 12-19 enjoying a kids free vacation. This resort was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, peaceful, great food, no obnoxious drunks or loud music. If you’re looking for a party resort: this is NOT it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation this is exactly it. The sargassum was bad when we were there but they hire people to clean it up. Once you get out about 30feet the water clears up. And the ocean is a living ecosystem so we just deal with it. There’s a very nice reef in front of the hotel (too far to swim out to unless you’re a VERY strong swimmer). The hotel offers 1 hour snorkelling tours for $40USD. We did it twice. Very enjoyable and we saw plenty of marine life - fish galore including several barracudas, a turtle, a few jelly fish, many rays and even one shark. I would have went a third time if were there another day. The local dive shop aLao offers scuba lessons. Plenty of beach chairs. Although the hotel was definitely not at capacity when we were there. I can’t comment about the pools as we didn’t use them - I much prefer the beach and ocean. Although the pools did look nice. Lovely white sand beach. Lots of umbrellas. I did yoga on the beach every morning and it was lovely. Nice beach walk to the south (about 1.5km each way). Lovely locals that utilize their beach. Really a nice, relaxed, fun atmosphere. Walk down to the pier and square.m where the locals hang out. It seems like everyone comes down to the square/pier for a cerveza after work. We walked early morning and after the sun went down. It was very hot for us (but we live in northern Alberta and it’s still cool at home this time of year). The food: hands down the best food at any all inclusive that we’ve been to. Everything was fantastic. Especially the fish and shell fish. The octopus was great. Highly recommending getting the catch of the day. Also great coffee and espresso. So nice to delicious, fresh meals that don’t derail my fitness goals. Staff: great service. Kind, polite and helpful. While all the staff speak English very well, I strongly recommend learning at least a few Spanish phrases. My Spanish is poor at best and the staff were so pleased that we at least tried to speak the local language. Rooms: we did a junior suite. It was clean and bright. The bathrooms could use a refresh. Nothing major - just the typical wear and tear you see in tropical climates (taps are corroded and need replacing, the caulking in the shower needs to be re done). Balcony was nice and we used it to cool off during the hottest part of the day. Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge was well stocked - although we only drank the water and club soda. Coffee and tea maker in room worked well. For house keeping. Kids: While this is not an adults into resort, there are no kids activities. If your kids need constant entertainment then this is not the place for them. Older kids who are happy to swim and snorkel would enjoy it. Our kids are 8 and 11 years old and they are active, outdoor kids. They would enjoy the quiet atmosphere here. Overall, a great choice for a quiet, relaxing vacation. We would love to return next year with our children.

We had a wonderful stay at The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos. The location is perfect — right on a beautiful beach with calm turquoise waters, and just a short 10-minute walk to the charming town of Puerto Morelos. The authentic fishing village vibe, with its colorful streets, great local restaurants, and relaxed atmosphere, was a real highlight. The facilities are excellent: spacious ocean-view suites, two beautiful pools (including a stunning rooftop infinity pool), a pristine private beach, spa, and delicious dining options. The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make our stay special. A perfect blend of luxury and authentic Mexican charm. We’ll definitely be back!

My trip was such a great experience because of the amazing staff—they were friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly welcomed. The food and overall service were outstanding.

This is a nicely finished, modern hotel. Nice pool (unheated, so can be really cold) but large and with an ocean view. The food is NOT great, so we do not do inclusive here as there is much better in town. It is also very expensive. The staff are really trying to upsell you and often take lots of your time trying to sell you on buying into a home. They really do not treat you well if you don’t. Some staff are the exception: Jenny, Cynthia, and Elena are all really helpful and great… honestly they are the only reason we stayed. Twice now, over 2 hours late on check in time. If you can afford their better rooms, they are really great. But the normal partial ocean view suites really only overlook the pool and you can see your neighbours through the open slatted patio walls. Not very private. Sometimes quiet, other times overrun with loud dj beats that you can hear everywhere. Great if that is your thing, otherwise you cannot stay near the pool. Some aspects are good, but with the intense sales pitches we likely won’t be back. They need to choose if they are a hotel or a real estate agency. Also, they don’t even offer complimentary water to the guests… really?
