Good value

Breakfast was pretty yuck, could hear neighbouring rooms TV for three days straight. Bit odd to be told no house keeping then have room turned over. Staff pretty much always on phones but did acknowledge and help if asked. Not much point having tea facilities but no kettle. Disappointing amount of waste, paper / plastic cups, crockery etc. Cotton sheets would be good.

There was nothing truly bad there was just zero effort put in by the staff. There’s no reason that the room coffee pots should have the wrong disposable parts making it completely unusable. Great so you ordered the wrong stuff then just went with it….. get a little lazier. There was also a constant stream of ants coming into my bathroom.

The bed and pillows was comfortable, hallways smelled clean, good variety of snacks and food in the little lobby store, Location was close to the things we wanted to do, it was quiet. Breakfast was good.

When we arrived in the middle of January the heater was turned off in the room and it was freezing in the room. It took hours to warm up. We attempted to call front desk to ask questions and no one answered despite multiple calls. The shampoo and conditioner all though smelled good was very very watery and did not clean my hair, like the dispenser would get low and they would just add water to fill it up instead of replacing it with a new bottle. We booked the room with a jacuzzi tub, once filled and jets turned on it would overheat or short out and only be on on for about 10 seconds at a time then take 5 min to turn back on before shutting off again after 10 seconds of being on.

I had to knock 2 "stars" off of this newer modern hotel just off of US-36 because of my shower experience. We'll get back to that in a moment... Stayed here because of a last-minute stayover in the Denver area because of work. Since I had no toiletries, I was thankful that they did offer the basic essentials for free (razor/toohbrush/toothpaste/deodorant). And as with most Comfort Inn and Suites, single packs of OTC meds, food and other essentials were available at the mini-market next to the front desk. I am assuming that the property is less than 2-or 3-years old, as the parking lot was freshly paved and the carpets & walls looked hardly worn. It sits next to the Weathertech factory and a block from the Broomfield Hospital and is a 3 minute walk to Starbucks. However for any other restaurant options, I did not see anything else within an easy 5‐minute walk. Since I checked in after 6 and had to leave by 4am the next morning, I did not get a chance to see what the amenities looked like (pool/exercise room/laundry room) nor could I partake in the breakfast, but the area in the lobby looked big and well maintained. My only gripe was the shower! I was in 302, and it took well over 5 minutes before the water got hot enough to start taking the shower water dial off of the maximum setting. I was pretty much done bathing by the time the water temp was at a decent warm level!!! I would consider a return, but put me closer to the hot water heater next time!!!
