The Grand Colorado on Peak 8

Best ski-in ski-out location, great pool, great property overall, amazing grotto, staff helpful, clean, like new. We stay here every year.

The concierge worker seemed to be put out by having to speak with me when I mentioned that the person who booked our reservation over their phone system said he would note that we were to have free souvenir t-shirts for the family. I don't particularly care or need an extra t-shirt but thought it was nice. When I mentioned this, she insisted that this was booked through the peak 8 property and to claim these we would have to go to the other property. Nothing about my booking was at peak 8 and it seems kind of ridiculous when they clearly have a pile of shirts sitting there that they can't easily and quickly make things easy and right, I did not press the issue but this seems like a decent canary in the coal mine of how guests and I'm imagining some "owners" are treated. We actually were kind of ingrigued by the sales pitch but no thanks. I anticipate having some serious eventual buyer's remorse for owners especially after a quick Reddit search on many people's experience. We were also booked into a substandard ADA room when it is clear that the standard rooms are much better and this was not disclosed. The property is nice and the pools/hot tubs are great. Location is excellent. The grotto was nice and I especially enjoyed trying a cold plunge, but the dry sauna and steam room were very weak compared to my home Life Time gym, they were not invigorating and didn't even have doors to seal in the steam or heat, just swing doors that don't seal. Anyway, I'd come back but don't have much intention on pursuing ownership after this trip. It's nice but it's definitely not Four Seasons or Ritz level by any stretch.

We love going to Peak 8 every year . The views are outstanding . The staff is so friendly and its super clean . There is so much to do or just relax . I love the subtle and gondola too !

Lovely accommodations in the mountains. Has lots of amenities and very family friendly. There's something for everyone. We enjoyed the Grotto (adults only spa area), Ullr Cafe, and riding the gondola to and from the downtown. Nice hiking and e-bike trails.

Stayed at GC8 for a work trip and the accommodations were great. Amenities were amazing, would recommend to anyone.

Grand Colorado on Peak Eight is an amazing place to stay! The rooms are luxurious, the pools are incredible, and the entire property is beautiful. It is an extremely family friendly place, yet luxury property.

We have been owners for several years. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar has the BEST views-a great place to hang our and grill and some times the bar is open. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The arcade is a lot of fun and so are the outdoor games. (We had a lot of fun with foosball). The kids always love the private theater. S'mores are a must at the one of the many firepits. Closing out the evening with a cocktail and Shirley Temples and a game of Yahtzee is a family tradition. Highly recommend!

This is and always will be our favorite place in the world. The Grand Colorado at Paek8 and Grand Lodge at Peak 7 are by far the best locations on the mountain. I have owned at both for over 15 years now and will always be our go to site in Colorado.

My wife & I stayed for a week at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 in a studio room on the 4th floor. It had a nice view of the mountain slopes and activities area below. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was efficient at cooling the room in the Summer. The small kitchenette was enough to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner. The windows opened to allow fresh air in the room. The adult 21+ quiet area was secluded, which had a private room with lounge chairs, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi & cold plunge. There are plenty of activities for kids & adults between the pools, games and also the slope side activity pass for extra cost not associated with the property.
