"Pleasant boutique hotel with character."

A smallish hotel with character, rather than an anonymous chain. Excellent location—near the city centre but at the top of a hill and quiet. Easy parking. Very helpful staff. Smallish but very comfortable rooms with really thoughtful features (proper coffee and fresh milk, quality radio and TV, lots of pillows and a soft duvet, controllable aircon and windows that open). Good bar and restaurant. Easy walk to the castle museum. Attractive garden with seating would be pleasant in warmer weather.

No exercise facilities, but walking up and down the hill was moderately strenuous. Shower temperature kept changing.

Hotellet ligger 5 minutters gåtur fra slottet. Vi havde direkte udgang til have med havestole og udsigt over byen

"Lovely comfortable hotel"

Lovely comfortable hotel & delicious meal in restaurant. Friendly efficient staff from reception to bar/restaurant

The only thing that could have been improved was the outside heater that was broken. Would have been nice to have a little heat while we sat outside with our drinks
