Breakfast was great, staff were top notch, the garden at the back was a lovely bonus.

Room was not clean found a large dog treat in corner of the room, drinks stains all over the carpet and dust and dirt on skirting boards

Great location, great views.

The room felt a little tired, and not reflective of the price paid. There were some splatters on the lampshades, a ripped blind in the bathroom. An old TV. Thin pillows that kept waking me up. Small things, but I expected more for the price, and for the standard that I think the hotel was setting for itself.

very easy check inn, location was perfect and on site car parking so much easier and cheap

Lovely comfortable room. Bath was wide and spacious, water way hot, window opened easily, room was dark in the morning so you didn’t need an eye mask. The staff were excellent - friendly and hospitable. The room service dinner and breakfast were delicious. The only reason I knocked a point off is because the telephone in my room wasn’t working so I had to go downstairs to order dinner but it’s a minor thing. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would stay again (and I travel a lot for work so that’s a big statement)!

The location is brilliant as is the views and the garden for the dogs. Powerful hot shower

Didn’t feel 4 star boutique the room was so cramped and it was dated and without modern mod cons like charging points next to beds, really old tv. Could hear doors banging all the time but couldn’t work out from where because we were above reception and it sounded like underneath not same floor. You get more comfortable rooms at a premier inn. There was one small carpark and we managed to get a space the first 2 days but our 3rd day we were panicking we wouldn’t get in as they were fully booked that day. We couldn’t and took a chance parking across the road in another car park only to find out when we checked out that it was there overflow carpark. As my husband said to reception when we were checking out and told us it was their carpark someone could have told us when we checked in so we didn’t worry
