Lovely and fresh wonderful sea view

Booked the suite, room was lovely and characterful , bathroom was amazing

Bed was atrocious, mattress should be thrown away Maybe they should advertise that breakfast is only available after 10.30am....probably wouldn't have booked if we'd known this. Had a terrible night's sleep and left early, won't be returning

This was a one night stay, but we would of definitely stayed longer. The location right on the main promenade is ideal for local bars and restaurants and the beach. The room was beautiful, so big with an amazing view over the harbour. It was spotlessly clean with a good supply of coffee and tea and bathroom soaps and body wash. Good size shower and a lovely, comfortable bed. I thought it would be noisy being so close to the pubs on a Saturday night, but it was quiet. Downstairs there is a bar and restaurant with a varied good price menu, it closes early, so noise wasn't an issue. The heaters were useful so you could control the temperature yourself. Breakfast was beautiful and the staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Location was good easy access to shops beach and harbour, nice large room with good views of harbour

On arrival we were told breakfast was 10 30 to 11 30 which we thought was quite late, we had no tea bags milk or cups in our room,after seeking the owner for these were were told we will bring them later so had to wait for a cuppa when they arrived we were left 2 tea bags and 2 small pots of milk and had to chase staff every day as they would only bring 2 tea bags and 2 small pots of milk each day, the 1st day of arrival we had a short walk went back to hotel at 6 and was all closed up so we accessed three back door went for showers to go out and had no towels in the room we rang 2 numbers for staff with no reply so left messages that we had no towels, the follow day when management arrived we told them we had no towels and had left 2 messages on the phone and we were asked are you sure there's no towels, didn't even get an apology, and the bath towel smelt clean but was very stained with dirt which we couldn't use,also felt embarrassed for the young girl which was staff and being told off by management as we say having breakfast, ,

The location

The room was supposed to be a deluxe but definitely wasn’t deluxe, There were no facilities at all as the hotel closed around 5pm we couldn’t have a drink or eat here as it was closed, we had to use the rear entrance to the hotel as the front was closed, I paid £160 for one night but have had nicer places for half this amount, breakfast was at 10.30am check out was at 10.00am we checked out early and went elsewhere for breakfast so we could continue our trip, the room was a decent size but the bed was terrible it had a mattress protector on it which was very noisy, the electric radiators were very smelly when we put them on too,
