Rooms are super roomy and comfortable. The rooftop and view from it are really nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was on point. I really enjoyed this hotel.

I booked the one bedroom suite and was told they were sold out upon arrival. I was downgraded to a studio suite. I only booked this hotel for the one bedroom because I was traveling with a baby. I asked the staff how this happened and they said it just does. I had another friend arrive after 10 pm who booked the same room type and she was given the one bedroom suite they “didn’t have” 3 hours prior. I asked to be credited the difference in room type and they told me they couldn’t because I used booking.com and offered me $30 to the mini bar. The price difference between the rooms was over $80 per night. I ended up being able to move rooms for my second night, but my food and drinks that I had in my first room kitchen were all thrown away. This was not an enjoyable experience and I recommend canceling your reservation and going elsewhere if they’re sold out.

This hotel has several pluses: its location is great for campus and things around Tempe, it's very clean, has spacious rooms, the gym is decent sized, and the free breakfast is good. Staff were generally very polite. However, there were a couple notable downsides: I arrived before check-in time and they said I could leave my number with them, and they would text me once my room was ready, but they never did. So I just wound up waiting there until check-in time. The other problem was that I never got to review the charges upon check out. When I was checking out they just took my key card and said that I was "all set" without even asking what my room was. So, I didn't get to review the bill for any incorrect charges. Moreover, the room was charged to my card instead of the party organizing my visit, so I wasn't able to catch that before I left, and then had to deal with that afterwards.
