Holiday Inn Express - Wilmington - Porters Neck by IHG

I love this property and all the people who work there! I've stayed many times and can't say enough about the fantastic staff, rooms, pool, workout space and wonderful breakfasts. Even when things are perfect, THEY CARE, especially CARRI. Thanks to Carri, I will never stay anywhere else. She helped me with a problem that the corporate office said they couldn't solve, but the people at this location are ALWAYS there for me and whatever situation comes up. I live in Central America and my kids live right next to Porters Neck, and I look foward to my times at this property. The adjacent places to eat and shop are stellar as well. Thanks again to Carri for being that problems solver and customer service guru. You rock.

Love this hotel, we stay here every time we visit Wilmington. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Rooms are always clean and spacious! We love the extra space in king room. Carol is always accommodating and welcoming! Thank goodness our to all the staff for all you do!

It was a newish hotel so things were pretty clean.

The pool was very cold and the front desk staff said the heater was broken. For a newish hotel that seems odd. I think they keep the pool cooler to keep the steam and heat down. It saves cost to keep the indoor pool cold. It makes the point of an indoor pool nonexistent.

This hotel is great and within walking distance to several chains and local eateries. The staff is kind, service-oriented, and personable. Alison Davis was particularly helpful and went out of her way to assist me with some printing of documents I needed. While I was standing in line, I heard her speak to another guest with care and concern. Really wonderful guest experience.
