Nice vibe.

Beds were not clean.

The venue and the staff are amazing. I booked into the 'Crystal Room'. It was more expensive, but came with perks, i.e. aircon, bath and shower, king-size bed, and an upgraded breakfeast "take-a-way, amongst others. However, the aircon in my room didn't work. There was no phone to order room service. The power went off at 4:00. No generator kicked in. I tried to phone the cell number on the website, as no number was available in the room. Nobody answered. The emergency numbers at the back of the doors all said that they did not exist. Even the security guards were missing in action. I had to attend a funeral the next morning, and despite my late check-in, the staff went out of their way to assist me with laundry services. However, without power??? It is difficult to get ready. It is a 4☆ facility, after all. Cold water... no lights.... And then all of a sudden, at 6 a.m., the geny kicks in. Will I stay here again? Yes. But in the cheapest room possible. Only because of the 10 staff members that were on duty until 20:30, that made my stay worthwhile.

No phone for roomservice, no contact no for reception/owners in case of emergency. Emergency numbers did not exist.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Manager was friendly and helpful when I checked in. The guy at the bar was not very friendly when I bought my water and cooldrinks for the room.

Breakfast was not great! It was a buffet breakfast and only 4 items to choose from. There was a group of people and by the time I had breakfast there was not much left. Toast was pre-made and rock hard, I could not eat it. Coffee was empty and when I asked for more coffee the just tilted the urn and squeezed the last drop out of it. That coffee was so bitter I could not drink it. The cup was also chipped, and I almost cut my lip, and when I showed one of the staff members she just apologized but she did not take the cup and just left it there. Not very professional.

Enjoyed the stay in the Bushveld. Well maintained venue. Excellent food.

Room was incredibly hot with no fan or aircon.
