La Placita Inn

Good hotel for a good price. The rooms felt modern and clean. And the staff is very attentive . A few cons or FYIs if you will: -They do have music on the weekends that goes to around 10pm so if you go to bed before then, you may have trouble falling asleep. -They have a small restaurant on site which has “free” breakfast for guests and the food is pretty good. You order off a menu, not buffet and anything outside of what the small portion they give you is an additional charge which you get surprised with at the end of your stay. They don’t tell you until you are about to check out. For instance , you get either juice or coffee included . Not both. If you want both , extra charge. Ask for a substitution, extra charge or no go. -Also be prepared when it comes to potty time - you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet. Yes, even for #2. All paper must go in the trash can next to the toilet. -You have use of the neighbor departs pool which is quaint but nice and relaxing. Although we were kicked out due to them “treating” the pool. Mind you, no sign was put up to let us know to NOT use the pool. That was a fun itchy night . So please check with the people at the Mayan hotel on pool use before getting in.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, hot shower, great bed and cold AC. Also on the best beach in West Bay.

Love this little hotel tucked away but still steps from food, drinks, and the amazing West Bay beach! The customer service was amazing and the breakfast that was included had great options.

La Placita Inn is a beautiful property in a great location at West Bay. It is in within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, dive shops, gift shops, and grocery/liquor stores. The beach and pool are beautiful! We ate the complimentary breakfast at La Placita’s own restaurant every morning; it was delicious! All of the staff are very friendly and amazing, especially Jesse at the front desk and Edward at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Great Hotel & Best Location!!!

Cute hotel with super friendly staff. Short walk to the beach and shops. Breakfasts were yummy. Bed was very comfy. Only issue was the noise (loud guests and loud music). We would stay again.

Great property! Close to the beach

Had a great stay everyone was very helpful. Jessie the front desk host helped my husband decorate the room for my birthday. Top tier thank you for that. Until next time

Friendly happy wait staff serving the included breakfast. Wonderful to have access to pools and beach towels and chairs at neighbouring resort. Convenience store right outside the door. Super friendly. Close to all amenities.
