We loved our stay at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko. We arrived late at night and they were very helpful with check-in and once we realized I had left a cellphone behind in the taxi they were very quick to help us find it and contact the taxi company. They even waited outside (insisted even) to get my phone, after they saw me waiting for the taxi driver to return. The beds were comfortable and we had an incredible view of the mountain from our window, so beautiful in the morning and an affordable stay at that so we were incredibly grateful for that. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast had both continental and traditional options (e.g., miso soup, milk pudding, tabletop grill to grill fish, fruits, etc.)

部屋から見える景色は富士山が一望出来たため良かった。しかし、部屋どうしの感覚が近い？のかそれとも壁が薄すぎる？のか分からないが、普通の声量で話していても隣室の客からうるさいと叱られた。逆に隣室の客の咳やクシャミは普通に聞こえてきたし、スマホのバイブレーションの振動も壁伝いに分かるレベル ホテルの立地は閑静なばしょに建てられているのにも関わらず、部屋間の防音性が蔑ろにされているのがわかってしまいとても残念 この系列のホテルは全国にあるらしいが 部屋の防音性が何とかならない限りは今後宿泊する事は無いと思う

We were at the property at the for 2 nights. The view of Mt Fuji was amazing. Breakfast spread was good value for money. The property is a bit dated and far from the main drag, but the service and the onsen was amazing. Would recommend this place.
