Gardner Farm Inn

Owner, John was a delight to visit with. Our Jean Harlow room was comfortable and roomy. His breakfast each morning was tasty and filling.

Charming historic farmhouse that was perfect for a short stay in Troy. John was a welcoming host.

Beautiful room! The owner was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was excellent and the 2 staff members who were helping out the owner who was away attending a wedding were excellent -4 stars . Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.The other people staying at inn were very friendly and nice.

The outside grounds are awaitng the annual spring cleanup [it is only the first weekend of May ] -Owner reports that his gardener quit recently,

John the host was very accommodating, due to a snow storm we had to change in our stay at the last minute. We had a 3 night stay instead of 2. The room was very nice, king bed and breakfast was really very good.

My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon.

Absolutely exceeded high expectations; classic decor, world class bed and linens for an outstanding sleep, great shower and bathroom, huge closet, outstanding host and breakfast. Plus the location could not have been better. Am easy 10 out of 10 in every category and I would look forward to returning one day if I ever am in the state capital area again!

Only that I was not able to stay a second night or had arrived earlier so that I could have perused the many books and curios and sat and enjoyed the wonderful public areas in the house.

This was a beautiful house, and the host was extremely gracious and thoughtful. also, the custom breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area, and I've already recommended it to several people.
