Great Hotel and location in the heart of Kyoto

Awesome location with a beautiful room and a delicious breakfast. Loved the guest lounge with free food and drinks. Free Geisha show in the lounge was also a treat!

My only complaint is that we could not use the private hot tubs without paying an additional fee.

両親の金婚式のお祝いで2日間、子供達5人で伺いましたが、お部屋、サービス、窓からのロケーション全て想像以上で素晴らしかったです。 ラウンジからの八坂の塔は絶景でしたし、ちょうどチェックインの日は舞妓さんの舞があり初めて拝見させていただきました。 お部屋もリビング付き、バルコニー付きのお部屋で、外に出るのが勿体無いぐらいでしたが、行きたい場車がたくさんあった為、部屋でゆっくり過ごすことができなかったのが、心残りです。 次回、京都に遊びにくる際も、ぜひ利用させていただきたいです。

お部屋のコーヒーマシンに前回利用されたコーヒーの汚れが付着しておりました。 夜中の寝室の天井の音が気になり熟睡することができませんでした。 しかしお部屋があまりにも素晴らしかった為、変更してもらうより、夜中だけ我慢して滞在させていただきました。

It had a really relaxed feel in a hectic place. The service was exceptional - our tour/guide that we had had booked through Get Your Guide (activity provider being Best Trip to Kyoto) did not turn up and didn’t communicate with us. We felt very badly let down, but the hotel reception/concierge managed to book an alternative within an hour - who was frankly much better than the Get Your Guide options we had used in Tokyo. They saved the day for us! The lounge and service is generally excellent and the hotel is a haven after a busy day. The rooftop bar is also gorgeous with stunning views. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend the property - thank you to all the team there.

Nothing really. The food is perhaps not as diverse for western tastes but the quality is excellent.

Beautiful property. Understated elegance. Superb food.
