Ahana Resort El Nido

L'hôtel est super si vous compter ne pas bouger de l'hotel sinon il est tres difficile d'accès. Le seul moyen dy accès est en 4×4 car la montée est très raide. L'hôtel propose des navettes payante depuis L'hôtel vers tout les centres d intérêts d'el nido mais c'est excessivement cher. Les tricycle peuvent vous déposez en bas (compter 10 mn de monter raide) La nourriture est délicieuse sur place. Un peu radin sur le petit dej mais ils se sont rattraper le 2nd jour. L'hôtel est propre et la vue est à couper le souffle. Attention aucune chambre n'a de vue sur la piscine contrairement aux photos. Rapport qualité prix top à el nido sauf pour le transport

Only bad thing is the hill

Since the first day we got there, they say that they provide an airport shuttle, which upon arrival there was none and no way of reaching them through the contact information they provided on Expedia. We had to wait and find a taxi car because I couldn’t go on the Tuk Tuk trycicle since I am pregnant and we had lots of luggage with us. We paid the expensive taxi to get us to Ahana. Once we find the resort, it is steep up the hill which was super scary to go up in a little car. The hill was so steep and the road was not done. Definitely needed a 4x4 car which we did not have, so it felt as if we were about to fall off the cliff. We had to get out of the car in the middle of the road because it was so scary. Then once checking in with the resort, we sure asked for a refund because we did not want to stay there since the road was so scary to even go anywhere to explore, so we felt like we had to be stuck in that hotel. And they wouldn’t give our refund so we had to stay. Our only source for food the first day we got there was at the hotel. We only ate at the hotel the whole day, lunch and dinner and then breakfast the next morning, which they tried to charge us for breakfast when it was supposed to be complimentary. As soon as I had the breakfast, I felt sick & got food poising and that was the day we left on our tour. I couldn’t get out of the restroom took some medicine for that then couldn’t stop throwing up. Mind u I am pregnant and I haven’t thrown up the whole 4 months...

Great place, perfect for couples. A bit far from center of town. The road to get to the up to the resort need to be fix. Overall great experience.

Excellent service and very clean

Amazing view, lovely hotel design. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The food and cocktails really were not good. There was no hot water to shower and it’s not really convenient to stay at this hotel as they don’t make the access to it that easy- the transport is only available if the one driver is available- it just overcomplicates the stay. They also didn’t put water in our room after one night so we had to buy from the bar which was a bit annoying especially when you are not allowed to bring food and drink from outside.

The view was amazing

The water was cold and the water pressure very low I couldn’t wash my hair because of that. Additionally the food was very expensive and the first night we ordered chicken dish and it was cold and hard to cut. The meal was small and we were hungry that night. The next day the food was better. Apart from that we asked to drop us off at el Nido terminal bus at 3 o’clock. The man was waiting for us and he was very nice. But when I asked him how much to pay for the ride he said 500 pesos. Although I knew it supposed to be for free he said so and we paid him. It was very unfair and I would say he used us. I don’t feel good about it. I think it is very unprofessional to behave like this. If you offer ride for free do it instead of taking monkey. I guess his boss doesn’t know about it.

Access to the property requires a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, as other types of vehicles are not suitable for reaching the location. Unfortunately, this information was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. Additionally, we found the pricing for tours offered by the hotel to be significantly higher compared to alternatives available in the city. The discrepancy in costs was notable, with tours labeled as A, B, C, or D being priced at half or less than what the hotel was charging. Despite the hotel justifying the higher costs, it is recommended to avoid reserving any tours through the hotel to ensure a more cost-effective and transparent experience.
