Ahana Resort El Nido

I truly am satisfied with my stay at Ahana resort. The resort is tranquil and beyond my expectations. The view is spectacular. The service was excellent. From the desk to the room service, they were all friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you so much to Jon Jon, who drove us to places and even helped us get cheaper pasalubong, Edmond took care of our food and drinks and took time for conversation, Neal took care of our tours and infos. The whole staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. I’ve been to many resorts and this is the best experience I’ve ever had. I also got acquainted with the owner and her sisters, who were very nice to us. The food was good. and the room was clean and nice. I really felt like I was home away from home. I highly recommend this resort for people who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. 👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

•service was bad, which made us decide to just stay overnight only instead of 3, and decided to stay somewhere else instead to enjoy the last 2 nights. •the room that we stayed in had a lot of issues (broken doors,broken bathtub knobs) •over priced transportation from the resort to the main road, and vice versa •no sympathy felt from the staff •not hospitable enough to act on their own •Resort is too far from the main road, and you would need to hike on a road thats not constructed, if you dont want to avail their over priced transportation

It was decorated very beautiful

The AC was not blowing strong very low so it was hotter in the room then outside, big spider, clogged shower, WiFi was terrible and no signal.

The views were stunning and our room was super comfortable! Food for breakfast was lovely and happy hour cocktails also delicious! There have been lots of reviews stating location is really bad, but in fact we had a scooter and it was super easy to get around….to lio beach or el nido and we did lots of day trips to napcan and surrounding areas! There are also tricycles at the bottom of the steep hill that cost 150 PHP to get into town so we thought it was perfect! It’s also great as there aren’t many rooms so it feels super quiet and unspoilt

Perhaps ability to get additional items for breakfast

The look of the property is good and the view is stunning, especially sunset. The standard of the finishing is excellent. Jon Jon the driver was brilliant.

The property is located up a dirt track which is unmanageable by scooter and means you need to pay for a taxi every time you want to leave or come back (20 minutes from El Nido Town). Functionality- aircon did not cool the room, hot water was very sporadic. But the main issue was the music played at the bar, constant loud music in such a serene environment is such a let down who needs Eminem at full volume when they are having their breakfast? So loud you could not even have a conversation, what have people traveled for? To enjoy an environment and experience or listen to music full volume? Wifi is also a big issue. No connectivity at all. We aren’t people to sit on our phones but to be able to google what to do in the area or plan ahead for your next destination is impossible. Had to go to town for signal. Breakfast wasn’t good. You order one meal from the breakfast menu. An option of coffee or tea. That’s it. No water even available at breakfast, you have to pay for it. As for the rest of the food, VERY expensive in comparison to eating out.

Absolutely nothing, terrible customer service, with staff being rude on the phone and hanging up when trying to modify due to illness

I highly do not recommend anyone to book this resort if they are planing on traveling to El Nido. The customer service is atrocious. Booked this via booking.com and due to unexpected illness, needed to modify booking. The staff were extremely rude and hung up on me. No response on emails or calls after. Booking.com provided my friend and I compensation out of good will due to Ahana's poor customer service. If you also look at the location, it is very far from the main town

The internet connection wasn’t the best

The property itself is beautiful with a beautiful scenic view. The biggest downfall is that it sits off an unpaved dirt road with a very steep hill. We had to walk up this hill every night in the pitch dark. The property is about 25 minutes from El Nido.
