Ahana Resort El Nido

It was quite secluded but still a short drive or tuktuk from the main city. The staff went above and beyond. The views were something out of a movie. It was splendid. We were almost detered by reviews regarding the wifi issue, but you're in a remote part of the country so that is expected.

The drive/walk up to the accommodation is quite steep and not very built-up. If you are walking up from a tuktuk, make sure you are well hydrated.

The view is stunning! Stayed here for my last night at El Nido and for a day at the pool with a lovely cocktail and a good night sleep it’e perfect!

The road to the hotel can only be done by 4x4 truck so this is something to think about in advance if you wanna go out or to the beach

The jungle area is nice but the comfort is not there , it’s takes 10 mins of driving in a difficult road , the bathroom is outside but there is nothing to fight the insects or mosquitos , wardrobe is too small , there is a lot of useless space in garden, a swimming pool should be there for this kind of price . Or an extension of the house with a living room , outdoor furniture not comfortable , Breakfast is poor … It’s too expensive for no reason.

Loved the place, the room was like the pictures. Secluded location but still very well connected to the center with tuktuks or bike. Very welcoming staff.

Transportation price offered by the hotel are way to expensive for the Philippines. Also the free shuttle is misleading as it is only between certain hours. Happened to learn about this 24h before my arrival which was stressful for nothing.

The road to get to the hotel you need a truck or all wheel drive. We stayed for 2 days and the service was amazing. Greta customer service Issues 1. The pool gave me a serve chemical reaction I had as rash so bad. 2. I was food poisoned. I had dinner and 3 hours later I was throwing up and diarrhea from 11pm till 3pm the next day
