"Wonderful 2 night stay, enjoying the peace and quiet."

Such an idyllic spot - really peaceful and wonderful walking from the front door. Would highly recommend the pub The George which is a 10 minute walk away. Wonderful host and delicious breakfast - toast, pastries and yoghurt pots. Would come back!

It was a tiny bit hot in the bedroom. Very minor thing.

The Cow Hide is a brilliant location, nestled in the Sussex countryside, within easy striking distance of the coast, Arundel castle and a host of other amenities. One of the best self catering stays I’ve ever had. Cosy, well located, excellent hosting and very comfortable

As is clear from the ad, kitchen equipment is a little limited but with an amazing breakfast provided and a little planning, it’s barely noticeable.

"Lovely peaceful retreat"

Amazing little retreat, very close to Arundel yet tucked away in a very quiet setting in the heart of the Downs. Lots of nature around, I enjoyed watching the red kites and buzzards, and witnessed a couple of stunning sunsets. Perfect place to completely switch off and relax. Very short drive to Littlehampton with a lovely sandy beach at low tide. I also went around river Arun and enjoyed a very scenic walk. Caroline was an amazing hostess, so friendly and helpful, wanting to make sure I had everything I needed and giving lots of tips to identify birds! Breakfast hamper was fantastic and beautifully presented. Comfortable and clean accommodation with a very comfortable bed.

Nothing to dislike but worth noting it has a kitchenette, so you can’t really cook. There is a microwave and fridge which were perfect to store and heat up ready meals

Wonderful stay in a countryside retreat. Lots of thought has been put in, to make sure we had a fantastic stay. Really nice food provided for breakfast Fantastic views out into the countryside really made us relaxed.

"Wonderful stay with comfort and great views and lovely host."

It was a fantastic view and very nicely furnished with lots of cute touches. Very comfortable. Great recommendation to go to the market which we were there for that Saturday. We loved it and the great variety of stalls all so local and artisan. Had a thoroughly relaxing and lovely getaway.

Only a microwave to cook with and no suitable size dishes to make food in the microwave. Just some good size dishes would be great.
