Very comfortable beds
Very clean hotel with great customer service. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean our room and the shared spaces in the hotel were. Appreciated the location of the hotel. It was right off the freeway and close to shopping and restaurants.
Excellent modern Hyatt Place, which first opened in 2020. Attractive pond-side location with nice landscaping. Great shower in my guest room. Hot breakfast was better than most I've had as free Hyatt breakfasts. Will book this hotel again!

Check in and check out were great. The lady at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name) was so personable. We were part of a wedding party and she was so kind to all of us! I can tell she truly loves her job! The room was very clean and comfortable. We had no complaints!
I love staying at the Hyatt in Des Moines, but this time was different. It was 75° in my room so hot. I had asked the front desk to help me out and they got maintenance and acted like this was a single incident come to find out the next day, they have been having troubles with the heat And I guess I’m disappointed because they flat out lied to me.
Staff was amazing! Loved being by the cute pond. Breakfast was great! Will be back!
We stay at this hotel a lot and normally we love it. But it is starting to lack in the quality. The TV in the room wasn’t working and so we tried to. Stream to it and it kept cutting out. The building has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The elevators have loose handrails as an example. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. I wouldn’t say do go here I’m just saying they are starting to let things go.
