Cortijo El Pino Retreat

A very peaceful 2-day getaway at this hidden gem - we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s in touch with nature & tranquility with a family vibe, El Pino is definitely a place for you. Thanks to Pepa for her amazing hospitality and the delicious dinner she made for us two! Also a very cozy breakfast served every morning under the pine tree with the incredible view of the landscape around. Thanks again 🙏🏽💚

Our hosts and location were wonderful. This is a very special place and I would not hesitate in recommending a stay here of 4 to 5 nights. There are great walking routes. The location is under an hour from Granada by car. Breakfast was great with locally sources products.

The hosts, the view, the suite, the pool.

Quite simply perfect

An absolutely beautiful setting, wonderful accommodation and fabulous hosts. Set in a tranquil valley with amazing views and a breakfast to die for! Maria and Christian were lovely. They went the extra mile with great local information. The pool was welcome at the end of a hot day and views were outstanding. We stayed in the apartment which was tastefully decorated and had everything you need. The terrace was a great place to relax at the end of the day with a local bottle of vino!

Owners and location.

The hosts were super friendly and gave us many tips. These tips were very welcome since we were accompanied by my 85-year-old parents. Dinner was always delicious. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Beautiful area for hiking and visiting both the coast and Granada.

This place is wonderful. It’s a small BB set high up in the mountains with a beautiful view over the nearby town. You need a car to explore the area but town is only 10-15 mins on foot although quite a steep walk back. Meals are tasty and home cooked using local produce and are enjoyed at the dining table where you can meet and chat with the other guests. The pool area is quiet and peaceful and again enjoys a lovely Mountain View. The hosts Maria and Christian are what make this place so special. Their attention to detail is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to go back.

Having to leave

What a lovely B&B, an excellent base to explore Granada, the villages on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada or the coastal region but also a wonderful place if you just want to relax by the pool and enjoy the view. Above all the owners are so hospitable, they serve a fantastic breakfast and dinner, if you want to, after you spent a day out and they truly make you feel at home. Don't hesitate to book here!
