Cortijo El Pino Retreat

The owners were very friendly and they run this lovely B&B with a lot of care, hospitality and friendliness. We enjoyed a very nice paella together with another couple on our first evening. It was like meeting with some old friends. The breakfast was excellent and the comfortable room was very nice with a splendid view on the valley and village of Albuñuelas. The cortijo is located on a beautiful site with nice views on the valley and has a nice garden, terrace and a huge multi-centennial pine tree which sheds a lot a shadow.

Wonderful stay at El Pino! This lovely, charming house with the beautiful garden has is the perfect stay for trips to Granada, the coast and around in the mountains. We really loved the hikes around the mountains, the village has a beautiful scenery. Everything in this house is kept with so much love and care. Great breakfast with mainly local products, and we would also very much recommend dinner. But what keeps all this together, is how friendly and caring the hosts, Maria and Christian are. They offer lots of great advice about what to plan during the days. Definite recommendation!

A truly special place that is second to none. A beautiful house with a magnificent view over the Valle de Lecrin. We particularly enjoyed the warm and personal welcome from the two hosts, Maria and Christian. You immediately feel at home. The room was very cozy and lovingly furnished, very clean, as was the bathroom. Everything is very individual with historical charm. A real recommendation. We will definitely come back when we travel to Andalusia again.

Beautiful casa rural set up on a hill overlooking the valley. It exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and we had what I consider to be the most relaxing stay at a property that we have ever had. The owners make you feel like family, and the place itself is so welcoming and peaceful, beautifully decorated and comfortable with great views. They are also excellent cooks! We wish we could have stayed longer. I don’t always write reviews, but I wanted to be sure and let people know what a gem of a retreat this is. Even the dog was hypoallergenic and fit the atmosphere. We loved it all.

Cortijo el Pino is such an amazing place. The views are beautiful, rooms & beds very comfortable and above all the hospitality could not have been better. The breakfast is a treat to wake up to and it is a perfect place for hiking, relaxing or going to all kinds of other places just by a short drive.

The location is in the Valle de Lecrin, which is the most beautiful valley you could wish to visit. The owners Marie and Christian are wonderful hosts who made our stay unforgettable.
