Cortijo El Pino Retreat

Sitting under the old pine tree looking at the white village below and the green valley beyond, a truly relaxing place. Maria and Christian are extremely welcoming and helped us plan our visit with their local knowledge and recommendations. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, homemade jams and the sweetest freshly squeezed orange juice all with a picture perfect view. Thank you for your warm welcome, hospitality, and your company and we wish you well.

We had a pleasant stay at Cortijo El Pino Retreat. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, the bathroom was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly. It was very special to wake up with a view over the panoramic nature surrounding the b&b.

However, we had a mixed experience. Except for the bathroom, the apartment we stayed in was somewhat outdated and narrow. Kitchen supplies such as cups and trays often had only two of them, which could be uncomfortable at times. The wifi connection worked moderately (and barely in the bedroom). We would also like to mention that most of the photos on booking are not part of the space you can use as a guest, but are part of the hosts' property. We were very much looking forward to our stay because of the pictures and were therefore somewhat disappointed by this. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our days and the environment was beautiful. We would like to emphasize that the hosts tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible which we really appreciated.

It's a beautiful place to just unwind with a fantastic view that you can't get enough of. You just feel comfortable there with the owners Maria and Christian and with Pepa, who are all very committed and make your stay pleasant. The breakfast is very rich and tasty.

I have nothing to complain about

On a scale of 10, the guys from El Pino get a 12. We had a wonderful week with our dog in El Pino and enjoyed every moment of it. An ideal place for hiking, having a day on the beach, visiting Granada or just relaxing at the pool or the beautiful gardens. Maria Josė and Christian are great advisors on what to do and see for any taste. The house is a jewel: authentic in every detail yet with all the comfort you can wish for.We particularky loved our sunlight room with its georgous views and super comfortable beds.

it was beautifully situated with a nice, if steep, 15?walk to Albunuelas. lovely old building

i found my room a bit dark (but that might be good in mid-summer!) But I didn’t want to spend time in it relaxing.
