Clandestino Hotel Pila Seca

This hotel was really enjoyable! Rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was delicious. Staff was very nice and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Excelente servicio de parte de todo el personal y siempre fueron muy amables y cordiales. El hotel está bastante céntrico y es fácil caminar a casi todo lo turístico de San Miguel incluyendo el zócalo y las principales iglesias.

despite a couple of puzzling (and negative) experiences. the room was a modern retreat within a colonial atmosphere. we loved the room itself. the front and back courtyards filled with artwork pieces added a lot of character. the initial arrival experience wasn’t pleasant as we didn’t know there were 2 different locations as we arrived at the original address only to find that we needed to go to another address. and upon arrival at the 2nd hotel, the very first thing they wanted us to fill out was breakfast options. (they didn’t ask for ID cards or credit cards, but this breakfast form). what?!? it is only 2 pm. could that wait until we have settled into our room first? and plenty of time until breakfast the next morning. and guess what, our waffle breakfast the next morning was cold. so much for requiring us to fill out the form hours in advance. however, they did make corrections and our breakfast was great for the next 3 days. perfect location. great rooftop restaurant - kookaburra. and this hotel is within walking distance to nearly everywhere including great restaurants and coffee shops.
