Stay Express Inn Hamilton

Needing to stay in Hamilton for a single night I chose Motel 6 having had good stays at this chain in other cities. This time I made an unfortunate choice. On arrival at 6:10PM the office/front desk was open but unattended. Following the instructions on the counter I pressed the button on the counter phone to locate the receptionist but no one responded. I waited 15 minutes and walked around the motel property but could find no motel employee. As it was past the time to cancel without being charged for the reservation I chose to go to dinner and returned at 7:30. Again no one was at the check-in desk. But the door to the adjoining room with a "Do Not Enter" sign was open with a light so I again pressed the find handset button on the desk phone. After about 5 minutes a receptionist arrived and finally checked me in. When I asked about internet service she reported that the internet was down. I mentioned needing to do on-line work and she suggested there was another available Wifi but it was not secure. I asked for the address for that network and she wrote it down. But from my room no such network was visible and I wasn't able to do email or file any on-line reports. The room was mostly adequate and clean. But the people in the next room sat in camp chairs outside my door talking loudly well into the night. When I called the front desk to ask for a different room there was no answer. Will not be using the Motel 6 in Hamilton again.

I wouldn't stay here unless you were desperate. Rooms semi remodeled smell. Bath tub would not drain. How to ask for clean towels. This is definitely a last resort tight place!😝 They're a lot better places to stay the next place. Motel 6 should be embarrassed.

Had a great stay earlier in the summer, the staff was very accommodating. Great location close to stores, food and river. Everyone at the front desk were very friendly answering all my questions and taking care of any problems I had. Lots of parking here

Room was quite dirty, smelled of smoke, TV remote doesn't work, bath floor tile cracked apart, AC broken and noisy all night long. Would not ever plan to stay here again, even if I had to sleep in my car in a campground. Desk clerk appeared to be on something?

This motel was OK for one night. The only thing that bothered me was there were some spots on the carpet and they looked dirty. The bathroom was clean. Our room had a microwave and the price seems fair. The gentleman behind the desk was very personable and very helpful.

I was unexpectedly stranded in Hamilton due to vehicle trouble, and the staff accommodated me with a room on an extremely busy and extraordinarily hot weekend. May have been the last room in town, and instead of taking advantage and jacking up the price they gave me a good deal. Many Thanks!

They had a plumber there before I arrived and there was some kind of sewage all over the bathtub & sink. I called housekeeping and not only was that filled with some kind of black something, the towels were DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! The carpet had stains all over it, they said there was a hair dryer in every room well not mine! It smelled awful, there was one lamp there that had a half cracked lamp shade that barely gave off any light and with the lack of privacy I had to get dressed in the dark if I was to open the shades everyone could see in. The window had hand prints all over it and some little bugs all over the window sill. The carpet was stained something awful and the tile in the bathroom floor was cracked and I kept stubbing my toe. The shower curtain was YELLOW and not cause that was the color of the curtain!! NEVER AGAIN!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

Location was alright. The check in staff were friendly. The shower worked. The beds were mediocre. The room was just dirty. Urine all over the toilet. The counters and tables in the room were dirty. They advertise free breakfast and there is none.

We were greeted by the exceptionally hospitable Kelly who set Laurie and I up with a room with easy parking for our motorcycle and trailer. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed with sockets for plugging in gizmo chargers and my CPAP. Very nice shower and aggressive air conditioning – just what we needed after a long day of riding! $66 for the night which seemed like a good value considering the alternatives. Give Kelly a raise! She's top notch!

I was tired and pulled into this motel, because I felt that I would get an average clean place to spend the night. Well it was less than I expected. Holes in the wall, duct tape on couch, questionable plumbing. I did get a good nights rest, but I was glad to leave as early as possible the following morning. A last resort dump! Barely passable.
