Aloft Tulum

The hotel itself is great and the 2 ladies behind the desk are so nice and helpful, and provide great customer service. The area itself is safe, but the location around the Aloft is very dirty due to construction of new facilities being built all around the hotel. The parking is currently on a dirt road and it is very dusty, but once you step inside the hotel it is very clean. I would stay here again.

Very large facility. Very good beds, quiet. Half way between el centro and the beaches. Use a bike to get around. Outdoor facilities need a refreshing.

Just the perfect budget friendly hotel in Tulum. The location is great, lots of food options nearby and they even arrange scooter rentals if you ask them. Food is great, loved their fresh tropical juice and the hotel has a great vibe inside , lots of game options and they even have a nice rooftop pool and bar which we loved! Highly recommend staying here if you want budget friendly accommodation.

Amazing location and great facilities. The breakfast was excellent.

On our arrival we were told about a destination fee of 6,600 pesos which was an un welcome surprise. I complained to two women on the desk and they insisted it had to be paid. Then two days later I spoke to a man who said he just said no and they didn’t pursue it. He and I both agreed because I’m a woman they take advantage. So not happy with this disparity of enforcing the additional 600 hundred dollar charge. If I’d been younger I wouldn’t have had the money to cover that and it would ruin the holiday. Not to mention that we had to argue with staff at the roof top public that we were allowed to have two free beers and food to a certain amount since we had paid for the destination fee. Sometimes they would say we had used it when we hadn’t - actually had been out all day on an excursion- and then the front desk said no we don’t have it when we did. That was the worst part. The staff generally are lovely people and are just following orders. The best part was the breakfast which we had included and so happy we did so. Edgar, Alvaro were exceptional servers and really tried to accommodate our needs. The management has to improve this idea of a destination fee and then enforce it for all or remove it. It’s so confusing and unfair the way it is handled.

Great property. The roof top pool and bar was great. Food was very good. A little far from the beach, taxi 500 pesos each way plus beach club fee. Only two very small public beaches. Unless you are staying on the beach there is a cost per person to go to beach club.

Nos encanto a mi esposa y a mi. El lugar estuvo increíble muy bonito, limpio, pacifico. Realmente fue muy relajante. El lugar esta muy bien ubicado, las ruinas quedan muy cerca en carro son como unos 10 minutos a lo mucho lo cual ayuda muchisimo. El hitel esta hermosa hay de todo cerca de el. Hay muchas cosas para hacer ahi. Lo cual esta bien como opcion y me encanto que esten ahi. La piscina muy bonita, ambas. El cuarto muy bonito y todo a la mano, la comida esta bien solo que el desayuno no nos gusto mucho, se tardaron mucho en darnos el desayuno y aparte en lo personal mi huevo no estaba muy bien cocido. Pero de ahi en mas increíble. En definitiva volveria ir ahi por el servicio y la ubicación.

Everything was great. I will stay again

Paid extra for a king bed suite with jungle view for window and balcony. Upon arrival i was placed in a smaller room with 2 beds face the street and all construction. Was not offered compensation and was literally given the ultimatum of "take it or leave it". Not a pleasant way to start the vacation. All the Staff in the restaurant and rooftop were outstanding. Cant say the same for the front desk.

No water Bottles in the Room !
