Villa del Palmar Beach Resort Cabo San Lucas - All Inclusive

The property was under renovation and there were areas that were restricted. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet food was not great, however the staff were very attentive.

I recently stayed at Villa Del Palmar and unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations in multiple ways that really took away from the quality of our trip. From the start, we were given incorrect information by the concierge, who told us our all-inclusive package only covered restaurants within our specific section of the resort and excluded the others. We later learned from another guest that this was not true at all, and we had in fact been missing out on more dining options because of that misinformation. It was frustrating to be told something so limiting, especially when we found out it wasn’t accurate. At the sports bar, we experienced more confusion. One evening we asked the hostess if they had coffee and she said no, only for us to see her walk over to the bar and get a to-go cup of coffee for another customer. The very next day when we sat down to eat there, we were served coffee without any issue, which made it clear that the night before we had simply been dismissed or not taken seriously. That inconsistency in service was not only confusing but made us feel like we couldn’t rely on staff to give us clear or honest answers. At the breakfast buffet, one of us ordered a latte after our meal, and it was brought out in a to-go cup with the lid already on. When we opened it to check the temperature, it was lukewarm, so we asked a staff member to reheat it. Recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a good and relaxing experience. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The views are amazing and would totally come back again!
