It was an average hotel that was clean

I will make this long to make it helpful for everyone!! when you check in they put a bracelet, which is your room key, on you. They didn’t tell us that we actually need to RETURN to the desk to get them activated to get in the room.,wasted time walking around. Overall the resort is very nice and clean. The housekeeping staff are very attentive, there’s a kitchenette, full size frig, microwave, blender, toaster, stove, sink, dishes, silverware. The hotel stocked the frig daily with pop, beer, water, juice and also a basket in the room with microwave popcorn, little chip snacks, snickers bar and nuts.. everyday, no extra cost with the all inclusive package. The weird thing to me is, with 5 places to eat, all places are outside except for one. So it’s hot. And there’s often a wait for the restaurants, especially if you are a late night eater, if you go early, like 7-8 for breakfast and 5 for dinner then you’re fine. The Italian restaurant is overrated, not good. Overall, I do feel they put great attention to the food, so much variety and it is top quality. Not the same boring menu. The shows at night are awesome and last an hour. But get there by 5:45 to get in line for that place, even tho show starts at 7:30 because otherwise you won’t get in. The marina area is not fun to visit, scary. The shopping bad, restaurants so expensive in town. Take an uber to Walmart for the best souvenir shopping, so cheap. If you go here, that’s it, no other places you can walk to.

The food and service is exceptional. Rooms are very nice and updated.

Dinner and drinks need much improvement

Our recent stay at your the Lila Del Palmar property. While I appreciated the convenient location and the enjoyable dinner-and-show experience, I unfortunately encountered some significant issues that impacted the overall quality of my stay. Firstly, the presence of numerous flies during meal times was extremely unpleasant and detracted from the dining experience. This was a considerable hygiene concern. More importantly, on my first day, I became ill, necessitating a premature departure on the second day. I commend the staff at the front desk for their prompt and helpful service. They were accommodating in providing a room upgrade to an oceanfront location and provided an earlier check-in time, and they also assisted me in securing a reservation at another Villa resort. I am grateful for their assistance in this difficult situation. The refund for the unused nights of my stay was greatly appreciated and a fair resolution to the inconvenience caused. However, I do hope you will investigate the fly issue in the dining area to prevent similar experiences for future guests. Addressing the underlying hygiene concerns would significantly improve the guest experience. I also hope that you may consider reviewing your procedures to determine if there were any contributing factors to my illness.

The pool area is crowded - no shade on the pools and limited lounging/sitting areas under shade. Pools and spas close at 8pm and there isn't much else to do at the resort, but eat - luckily the food is very good. After a serious incidents this location has had at the pool, it would be great if they had a lifeguard on duty all hours the pools are open. If you go, watch your loved ones very closely in the pools and ocean

Very beautiful and clean. Always had great service from hotel staff. The food was very exquisite and very good . The atmosphere was very family friendly oriented. 100% recommend for a great visit.

The beach was beautiful! Great spot to watch the sunrise, turtles on the beach most mornings as well as constant action happening in the water that you can see from the pool area above the beach. Water was rough but still able to swim most days. Hotel was a little old but renovations are in process and the hotel was still quiet and calm. Rooms were still clean cute and comfortable. Beds were stiff but still comfortable to sleep on. Food for the most part was pretty good. Breakfast buffet and poolside menu were a hit for our family. The omlet guy really knows what he's doing! The pizza by the pool was also pretty good. Dinner buffet was good 2 of our 4 nights but we're also not really bbq people and thats what we felt like the theme of one of those nights were. The night time dinner entertainment was pretty good. They work hard to put on a good show. Get to dinner really early so you can get a seat.

Clean and convenient. Food was excellent.

The service was poor. We had to wait for a long time for our food orders. In addition, there were long lines to get into a restaurant. The wait time was about 1.5 hours. There were no chair available by the pool. The beach is not safe due to huge waves. Overall, we didn't have a good experience with this resort. We will not come back.
