My family and I recently stayed at this resort in July31-Aug 5th 2025. Honestly we had a great pleasant stay here! We will definitely stay here again! It is very clean. All staff is very friendly and helpful. We had no problems. Our room was very clean. My kids loved the snacks/ drinks brought everyday to our room. The food and drinks at the resort were great! My family and I enjoyed the shows the resort had every night, they were very entertaining! This resort was amazing!!

First off, I’ve stayed in several all-inclusive hotels in Mexico and around the world, and this hotel had some of the best food I’ve encountered to date. You have different options (Italian, steakhouse, sushi, bar food) and they don’t require reservations except for one of their restaurants, Tomatillos. The room was spacious enough for me, my cousin, and her 15 yr old daughter, however the room description states that there is a sleeping couch but that was not the case. There was two queen beds and one chair (not fold out). We had an ocean view junior suite and the view was amazing! 4 chairs and a table on the balcony for everyone to enjoy the view of the property and the ocean. The biggest negative was being suckered into sitting through their presentation of their timeshares (we had our reasons, but in retrospect it was not worth it). They tell you it’ll take 90 mins, but 2,5 hours later I was annoyed and frustrated. Why they would have someone undergo this presentation on day ONE is beyond me. We hadn’t event stepped foot on the property yet, and you want me to invest in a time share when I don’t know if I’m even going to like it? Mind boggling. All in all, we had a lovely time. Would I go back? No.

They had 2 people drown.. yes 2! One in the pool in front of our children and staff was not prepared. I had to perform cpr… kept man alive for a bit and they had no aed… awful!

The hotel charges exorbitant prices, including a nickel and dime for every amenity, despite offering the same menu. Even with an inclusive stay, the dessert spa is not worth the cost. The architecture and scenery are aesthetically pleasing, however.

Unfortunately the property is already in renovation mode. The staff is completely disinterested and the only time you get their full attention is when they want to sell you on their time share pitch. The food was average at best with limited seating and lineups at all the restaurants other than the sports bar. The outdated chit system is painstaking and there isn’t enough staff to make it remotely efficient. Not setting up beach loungers on the beach for 5 of our 6 beach days was unacceptable and forced us to look for other options ( better ) down the beach closer to the marina - all other resorts had their loungers out the balance of the week. Being all inclusive guests - This also forced us to spend out of pocket to enjoy the beach and water activities while having food and drink. Not sure if this was a strategy or merely another disregard for their patrons. The staff in general seemed miserable except for the maid staff and room service delivery people which were always pleasant. When specific concerns were brought to management they were not helpful nor did even try to make things better or apologize. Could not recommend this resort in its current condition.
