At Journey's End

The property was charming, clean, and perfect!

Comfortable, cozy room and private balcony. Charming shared leaving room and well equipped kitchen.

There was no clear indication that we had to enter by the lateral door and the code did not work (or we misinterpreted the information provided). Luckily another guest welcomed us and helped introduce the house rules and facilities. We had to unclog the shower box as water was about to overflow —that was not a pleasant experience but had to be done as it was our first night.

Location was great and the sauna in the shower was a nice touch!

-There was a dead cockroach under the coffee table -staff forgot to provide bedding for both of the pullout beds in the room, resulting in two guests sleeping on towels for the first night. Staff argued with me insisting that linens were in the closet (they were not, we had thoroughly looked in ever cabinet and the closet the night before) and finally had cleaners bring bedding… which only included one twin set of sheets (with no twin comforter/quilt) and then king sheets. As I had specified in the messages, we needed two sets of twin sized bedding. So even on the second night the bedding was incorrect.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit. The host was also excellent, providing great communication throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The location! It's minutes of walking to everything you'd come to St. Augustine to experience. Also, the facility is clean, neat, and has that oldie vibe the way it's appointed. I loved the wonderful bathroom with a bunch of jets in the shower. They do not serve breakfast but the dining room has everything one needs to make one in a jiffy.

1. Getting in the facility was difficult, especially since there were no staff at the facility. They had sent me two codes, one for the exterior door, and one for the room door, but it was quite unclear which exterior door they meant. It turned out do be in the back of the driveway, however it would be much appreciated if their email instructions would be more strikingly clear. 2. The ceiling fan on the porch of the room turned out to be inoperable, which took much of the value of having such a lovely and big porch to use in the 90+ degree weather.

Nobody was there to greet me open the door or even show me to my place. I called three times and then finally an hour later somebody called me back. They had no idea that I was coming. I asked him for a refund. They said they were going to credit my account. I don’t know if they did it yet.

Booked last minute. We’ve always want to St Augustine. Fortunately we spoke to couple who visited week previous to us who advised us ‘make sure you stay in historic area of st Augustine “ . So we agreed to go for something a little different and go for a smaller independent place instead of the bigger hotels. I’m so glad we did. The postion of Journeys End is fantastic. You are in historic district, and the museum and Fueler college is a 1 minute walk. When we needed to contact the company in charge of management of property, it was an instant response. V helpful and 10/10 for customer service. When we opened the door to our suite we were not disappointed, immaculate and great to have a lounge & kitchen area with all facilities. The owners have kept the character of the house in the main house. I could not find any fault overall with Journeys End. From reading reviews a few people mentioned the wi fi, our Wi-Fi was perfect. I would definitely recommend Journeys End, and Historic area are just amazing. Would recommend both st Augustine fish camp our server, Joe and the food was off the chart I had the best ever dessert , homemade white chocolate cranberry bread & butter pudding and for Brunch we checked out Roosevelt Rooms. Service totally 💯 perfect and food and coffee were stunning. All freshly made and presented. St Augustine and Journeys End we hope to See you again as would definitely come back - thank you.

Nothing all great including the price. Didn’t like we only had 1 night wish could have been longer

Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment fully stocked with everything you need. Check in and parking were easy. Very close to the old town area and restaurants. I was amazed what a perfect place it was for the price. We needed a drinking water refill tank and maintenance was on top of it. Would absolutely recommend.
