LIKED... The peace and quiet, the views, accommodating owner, local advice, lovely breakfast.

Room 5 was a little low in one area, bumped my head on the beam a few times. But I'm over 6 foot!!

We spent 4 nights at Forest How and it was perfect. We didn't need to use the car once and did all our walking from the guest house. Corrine and Katie were so lovely and made the best flapjacks! Would definitely recommend this snack if you have a packed lunch. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with the most amazing views. We spent some time one evening watching a deer grazing in the field. We had a couple of days of rain so the drying room was so helpful - something we didn't know we needed! There is a pub down the road which does some great food, just what you need after a day in the fells. Thank you Corrine and Katie, we had the best time.
