Sand Bar Cottage Inn

I could not say enough great things about this place. Everything was EXCELLENT !!! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location & delicious breakfast. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful stay! Our room (in the newer building) was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and Chris and his team were very helpful - park map, restaurant recommendations, etc. The historic inn was very welcoming and cozy. Would highly recommend

Sandbar Cottage was a very cozy, convenient, & welcoming inn for our stay at Bar Harbor! Chris, the inn keeper, was extremely helpful & kind to us and we felt very special celebrating our anniversary. We loved our room, breakfast each morning, and the live music! We loved being able to walk downtown each day & not have to worry about parking. Thank you so much & we will be back :

Liebevoll modernisiertes , sehr geschmackvoll gestaltetes Anwesen. Der Hausherr gibt Tips für Ausflüge usw. Besonders gutes, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, eine Ausnahme in den USA👍

This was a perfect place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. The room was well appointed and the common area was very nice. We enjoyed the full breakfast each morning and the afternoon snacks. Location cannot be beat! I would highly recommend staying at the Sand Bar Cottage Inn.

Location! Parking was easy. Breakfast was delicious, tea time, and live music were all amazing touches. Right next to the crossing for bar island. Staff was attentive. Easy drive to Acadia.

Minor issues in the cottage, just some wear and tear in the shower that would benefit from an overhaul.
