Sand Bar Cottage Inn

Warm, welcoming and great location. Very accommodating staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies.

Lovely Inn with great ambience located near everything! Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shopping as well as many activity tours and local transportation. Charming rooms with cottage decor and large front porch for breakfast and just relaxing. Quiet area one block from Bar Island Path. Fun music most nights in side yard on site. Chris and staff very friendly and helpful with needs.

The room was beautiful, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the stay. It’s perfectly located next to downtown. All the staff were gracious and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

2nd year in a row we have come to Stay at the Sandbar Cottage! Chris and Staff are the absolute best. They gave us the best recommendations for food and activities around the town. The breakfast was immaculate and they really make it feel like you are just family dropping in for a stay. Chris wins a gold star for being the best Innkeeper in Maine

The Inn was very very wonderful! The staff and Innkeeper Chris was available if you had sny questions. They mingled with all tge guests and made you feel right at home. We will recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone that plans to go to Bar Harbor Maine. Walking distance to everything! Will deginetly go back
