Arrowhead Lake Inn

The place absolutely not clean the beds are made for children the host is nice the hospitality is excellent but the place is horrible the money we paid way over charged

So much to like about this place, starting with manager Jennifer. She made us very comfortable and appreciated. She was very generous with her time in explaining the area and its history, and she was very attentive in every detail. Also, the complimentary breakfast was billed as "continental", but was the most complete "continental" I've ever seen. Lots of bread, fruit, beverage and cereal types, and more. There was also after-breakfast items available, all at no extra charge. The lobby was warm and cozy, and was someplace to linger. We parked right next to our room, and the hotel was walking distance from the best Lake Arrowhead had to offer. Our room (Blue Boy Room) was quiet and private, though we could see the lake from our balcony. Everything in the room worked just fine, and I would call the room "quaint" and "charming" instead of "old" ... there's a difference. The bed was comfortable, and I managed to sleep all through the night. Internet service was no problem, and TV service include more Spectrum channels than I have at home ... and a lot more apps, which I didn't explore. For dinner, we went to Puglia two miles down the road in Blue Bird ... great food and service. We would come back to this Inn without hesitation ... the Inn stands well on its own, and Jennifer makes it excellent.

An inn this age needs constant maintenance, and I could see that some of the external wood was nearing end-of-life. I mention this only because I noticed it, but the overall experience was still excellent.

The staff was very attentive to our needs and the breakfast amenities were great. The views of the lake from the patio perfect.

The a/c has a plugged or blocked hot air exit, and it fails to operate properly.

Parking was very nice.

It’s such a cute, quaint place. Cozy. Not much of a view, barely see the lake. But, that’s really minor. We didn’t drive up there to view the lake from the room! Check in was the easiest, most casual check in I’ve had, which was very cool. If/when I get up there again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

The location is excellent and very close to the Village. Rooms are clean and welcoming. There were many options in the lobby area’s continental breakfast setup and plenty of other snacks for later. Our only issue was the shower took 10 minutes to warm up. The manager was a friendly and helpful person.

Cute old fashioned Inn. View of lake was good. Good walking distance to town. Staff was nice. Room was clean.

Needs some updating on stairs and balcony. Coffee was not made the first morning and no instructions to make it. Found the coffee and made myself but didn't use enough coffee. Instructions would be nice.
