Best Western Plus Horseheads - Elmira

This is a great place to stay down the road from Watkins Glen. First noticed upon entry that hotel smelled brand new. Front desk was very nice. We jumped in the pool and had breakfast in the morning. Very pleased with the King bedroom and would highly recommend to anyone considering this property when staying in the area.

It was very nice inside and the staff was nice. The only issue was that our room wasn’t cleaned until we brought it up.

Great service

This was booked last minute for an overnight stop on a longer trip. We found the hotel to be clean and welcoming. Our room was larger than expected. Breakfast was ok, had to ask for hot items to be refilled but that was done promptly after the request. Good bit of highway noise but it did not impact our stay. Overall a great overnight.

Room was adequately clean, noise was about par for a chain hotel, bed was comfortable. What I particularly liked was the well lit parking lot. This is very important as a safety feature.

it’s a best Western so you get the full corporate vibe. The room was clean, the area around the hotel was clean and it was kept up pretty well. However, if you like breakfast, the breakfast there left a lot to be desired. The eggs were soggy, and the meat (little smokies) appeared to be microwaved. The waffle machine was a plus and the toaster worked well. Difficult to communicate with the staff unless one used Google Translate.

The facilities there are very poorly done. Furnitures are terrible. No complimentary bottle water. Air conditioner is noisy with no wall mounted thermostat control. Could hear next room's conversation and noises clearly. Parking lot has no painted lines for stalls, signage, etc.............

Our room was very clean and everyone who works here was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was very good. The bed linens could use an upgrade but that is fairly minor.
