Inn on Charlotte Boutique Hotel

Historic property so rooms are tiny. Offset by spacious balcony. Location is A in the old town district. Easy walk to dining and shopping

BUYER BEWARE!!!The location was good. Everything else about this place was terrible. The information on Booking.com conflicts with what the Inn staff tells you. "Breakfast included" but then they wanted to charge us, "complimentary parking" and they wanted to charge us. I disputed these charges with my credit card company. Just one more hassle. The room we were in was filthy! A significant amount of black mold on the ceiling, the nastiest shower I've ever seen (we wore our sandals in the shower), trash in the corner of the bathroom, disgusting stains on cheap lamp shades, no dresser, an empty tissue box, broken towel hook, no internet, etc...Everything in my room was gross, wonky or broken.

I would not book this place ever again. I listed the filth issues. The parking in the back had plenty of space for the big work truck but we were not allowed to park onsite. The workers are working on something inside the Inn and it is very loud. I noticed on the back door a red "Stop Work Order" because there was not a permit issued for the work. However, I did not see a posted permit, which means the work being done while we were there may have been illegal. This would not surprise me.

Bed was comfortable. And location to shops and food

House had musty smell. Construction going on with cease work order on door. No permits visible. Conflicted info on what we were told about parking, breakfast times and charges.

Good place , small and a little old

Maybe a little fridge in the room for a bottled water .

THE ROOM WAS EXTRA SMALL EVEN FOR A COTTAGE. THE HOT WATER IN BATH ROOM DID NOT WORK. PARKING SPACE WAS NOT MARKED AS STATED. TERRIBLE B&B WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY THERE.

The mattresses on the bed were fabulous.

The shower was beautiful but I don't soap up very much and it seems like there was too much softener in the water? And the water was kind of hard to get the soap off. Felt kind of slimy.

It was very well centralized in the historic district

For a Bed and Breakfast, there is not somebody on the property at all time. The person manages more than 1 property at a time. For example at breakfast we were not informed it was at the property next door. We did not even know the property next door had anything to do with the Inn on Charlotte. In the morning we had to call to find out why breakfast was not yet being served and that’s when we found out it was next door. We were told it was because we did not take the welcome tour during hours, but they were informed twice we would be arriving after 8 pm.
